San Luis Rey River Bike Path | 5 Minute Overview! | Oceanside, CA | San Diego County

Welcome to Oceanside & the San Luis Rey River Trail!
A true hidden gem within San Diego County, this path rides 8.9 miles from the western pacific shores of DT Oceanside, passes the San Luis Rey Mission and ends just outside of the beautiful Guajome Regional Park. All while riding along one continuous Class I bike path that avoids any need to travel along surface streets. Be sure to check it out for yourself!
This is the first of many future TOSC videos that will be based in San Diego County!

I just discovered your channel while researching the Mountains To Sea Bikeways. I also happen to live at the west end of the SLR trail. This is a great overview of the SLR trail. I ride it several times a week and thank you for including the dirt extension in to Guajome Lake Park. A lot of people have no idea that the dirt extension trail and tunnel under Hwy 76 even exist. I’m glad I stumbled upon your channel.

Just did this one. Crazy traffic and drive so yeah, get out early. Really pretty ride. Reminds me of Irvine and a little of Ojai. Would definitely do this again.
