i think people should stop talking about each other. honestly top four groups all did an amazing job. im sure the points for each group were neck and neck. in the end, its all really up to what the judges saw and what their opinions were. great job san simon!

so you're saying alma gave money to the judges in order to win?

well obviously the judges dont judge on perfection. i believe the five categories were synchronization, dominio de escenario, trajes, choreography/escenografia, and something else. you guys did synchronize well but that only counts for 20 percent of the scores. and how are you gonna ask if i think we deserved first. you're saying because you practiced for two months thats what it takes to win? then every group should take first. everyone puts months in to this competition.

thats probably even better than bringing bolivian judges because theyre watching something thats brand new to them and makes it all the more impactful. regardless you guys did do an awesome job and no one can say that you didnt so be proud and enjoy that. dinthebhole, stop hating. and everyone else too... its so petty to be hating people who do the same dance as you.

If its not ignorant lies than he needs to share this info with the comite because they need to know and others r not falsely accused... Declaring lies and false accusation is horrible.

if you're saying you were robbed then that means you think you're the absolute best. not trying to offend anyone, but we all have things we can improve on. for example alma 2006, everyone thought they shouldve won, but when you really look at who won that year, and what alma did there is a great understanding of why uni beat alma. the judges may not know about traditional caporales but they do know about traditional dance concepts and themes.

then who are you saying had influence with the judges? seriously, doesnt take a genius to understand what you mean. why dont you guys stop. you guys did great, no one can say that you didnt. we never take that away from you guys. so much hate over a stupid competition.

yes we did, and uni got second dropping a chicote obviously, and usa got third with no mistakes at all. maybe this says that the judges looked at something more than human error. stop slandering alma.

well my names gabriela grajeda and i am a representative of alma, im subguia for the girls caporales and also have helped out with the saya last year and this year. im not even sure what the last part of your comment said, but im not here for the drama. i love my group and i defend what is being said about them especially when its not true. besides im not here to say USA SUCKED AND DIDNT DESERVE TO WIN. usa did an awesome job. all im saying is to stop hating alma for a judgement that wasnt ours.

just as a psa, alma did not pay the judges any money to win the concurso, despite what "fernandossusa" says. i guess all the groups in all the years that place in front of you fernando, pay the judges in order to win. if we did throw them money, do you have any evidence? i would like to see that. i know for sure alma does not have money to spend, haha.

if anyone really thinks we bought the judges or that we have any kind of influence on scores, PLEASE provide legit evidence. don't forget that the comite which is formed by presidents of ALL groups, agree on the judges beforehand. scorecards come out soon and then we can see why scores came out the way they did. stop slandering alma, its really unnecessary and ugly how bolivians turn against each other when saya time rolls around.

wow david. so almas choreography was SOOO BELOW yours? you just think your group is gods gift to the caporales world and thats law? based on the way things were judged, yes i do think we deserved first place. just like if you guys won, i would understand why you got first place. you should watch our chor again and you will catch a lot of things that you might not think are important, but things that do make a difference in a professional standpoint.

and why is it pointless to even compare. i'll tell you why alma won last year, its because we took the time to accept WHY the winners won and we we DIDNT. one never improves or wins in this case if you don't accept why and how decisions and scores are made. im not hating on you because you guys did awesome and honestly things could have gone any way with raices or usa or even alma. but why are you making us feel bad for a judgement that wasn't even ours?

i really take offense to ANYONE saying that we have influence on the judges or that we even bought them out. why do you think you have all authority to say that you were the best and that alma was not nearly good enough to win first? i have seen almas choreography many times, so im desensitized to how it actually looks to someone witnessing it for the first time. alma never says its the best and deserves to win everything regardless. if we won this year its because we did what we thought the judges would appreciate. if the audience says you won, then good for you. whats really ugly is that you start

Really horrible thing to say. I understand you may not like the position you got, but saying that Alma bought out the judges is straight libel. Watch your words, you represent a group with many wonderful people. Don't let what you say get in the way of your group's image...

saying that we were never on your level. alma never says its the best group or that it deserves to win regardless of anything. as someone who represented your group in the saya you should be careful about the things that you say because when you say them, you represent your group as a whole and make all simones look bad, when i know for a fact all of them are not.
