I hope today's singers take time to watch, study, and apply these performances to their current styles. Nowadays, singers tend to focus 99% on technicality. The story-telling, the emotions, the blending in the lower notes (in duets), the coordination with the back-up vocals, and the simple details of the pieces were usually taken for granted. Whether in ABS-CBN or in GMA talents, when they perform, the singers always anticipate the high notes. they will whisper the low notes at the start to make them sound "low" and "emotional" trying to set the feeling of the song but actually they are doing it artificially and thus sounds insincere. Lacks eye contacts with their partners in their duets. Result, they're just being divas on stage. Cannot even make a song sound expensive. I hope they truly try to learn from the people they called "idols" during interviews.

In fairness sa Jeepney Tv. Dun ko lang din nadiscover ‘tong Ryan Ryan Musikahan. And may singers dun na ‘di ko kilala and they’re singing Don’t Give Up On Us. Surprisingly, sobrang na-hook ako because ang simple lang ng kantahan nila. Ang nostalgic lang. Ever since that day nanonood na ko nito sa KZfaq.

Ito yung time na sikat na sikat si Sharon and ibang star. Di pa ganun pansinsi songbird. Pero after wanted perfect mother to now abs na sya next to sharon usap usapan 1B worrh contract nya sa abs. I think worth it naman sa galing nya. But more than concerts miss ko na sya gumawa ng serye at movies! Sana mag karoon ng magandang material at story for them and Aga uli.

Iba yung emotions na nilalagay ni regine sa soft tone nya.. kahit walang birit.. ramdam na ramdam. And Gary V is equally excellent. Mga tunay na singer to eh. Unlike now.. basta nalang naka videoke at may isang piyesa na nakuha or nagaya, feeling nila artist na sila. 😁😁😁

The good thing about regine is her passion when it comes to music. Yung tipong pg kumakanta xa full of emotions, like prng andun xa mismo. Facial expressions and everythings. There's no other performer n kagaya ni regine pgdtng s gnung aspect. Ngaun kung mppnsin m ung iba halos malukot n ung mukha, matabingi ung bibig, ung may angst b n prng ewan. Hehe.

The amount of talent in this video is just too much not to acknowledge. Even the incredible back up singers who upto now we hear in their concerts. Gary, Regine and Mr C are national treasures. Lets give them the flowers they deserve. Thank you for their gift of music.
