You take us to a place that feels so pure and gentle, each time you sing a song, it’s as if it’s your first time. You are a very gentle & humble soul. Man, I was not ready for this. I was told to look this song up because I'll be dancing to it in a new play that's been written. There are only a few artists in the world that are able to create vivid images of a time in your life. And, this gentlemen is one of them. I've been trying to let go of my late grandmother for so long. But this song makes me not want to do that. It brought her back to life for a moment and for that I am thankful. I got to see her, clear as day, one more time. Thank you x.

I would like to say.. 1. I consider myself fortunate to be commenting on this with people that truly are here for music only, and not out for an argument... 2. Who truly believe this guy is one of the best voices ever. 3. I bought this as a single when it came out... I loved it... think it reached the 15-20's in the charts in the uk... 4. I will NEVER tire of it... And the break, is so soul reaching, heart rending, and so pure emotion that I always come here, good times or bad. 5. I love him. 6. Good luck to you all, and I consider the 115,000 of us that have watched this ( although there was another that has been removed ) still rather a private place in this world I can come and just find peace. I was sitting on my bed and I was listening to your song Holding on to you and all of a sudden I hear thump thump but it was almost quiet and I looked down and it was my tears hitting my comfetor and I only had that happen to me one other time in my life and it was when my sister passed April 17, 2016. I have felt like everything is loud to me. I looked at some of your interviews and I was able to calm down when I listened to you. I was thinking about your voice when you talk and it requires others to come down and listen and able to hear the message you want to express. The voice is small but the words are immaculate and we will never touch the end of then because they are infinite. We all need forever.

Sananda Maitreya is a true living legend. Such phenomenal musicianship. He and Louis Metoyer (lead guitar) and Kevin Wyatt (bass) are all masters at their craft. I keep hoping the three of them will collaborate on a new album and tour again. They are incredible together. 🌟 Superstars 🌟

It's 2023 and if a genie granted me three wishes I would say 1) transport me to this concert! 2) Let me be at the front of stage, and let me get a photo with him. Love how he's blushing with that beautiful smile at :14 secs. The way he embodied this song is outrageous. Love how he cradles himself, sway those hips and that raspy voice is so sexy AF! I had the pleasure of seeing Terrence at Roseland Ballroom in NYC in 1988. I got there early and was in the front row. I remember that not only was he beautiful, but the his voice was so mesmerizing. Thanks for taking my memory back to that😊❤

Almost 25 years ago! I can remember what I was wearing, how hot it was that evening, how perfect his voice was, how fantastic the crowd was and how I knew nobody would ever surpass the performance he gave that night. It felt special but looking back it seems so much more.

Immortal soul. It's amazing how unfeeling other music is after hearing this song. This kind of talent simply cannot be described in words alone. God of music ......multi-instrumentalist, brilliant writer, brilliant producer, brilliant vocalist, brilliant stage performer ..... most likely the greatest all-around music artist of all time, as well as the greatest vocalist of all time ....... he and Prince are very similar in almost every regard, except this guy is a far superior vocalist, and far more multi-dimensional with his music ....dude is astoundingly talented in every way

as I approach the year anniversary of my sister passing a year April 17, 2017 I find strength in the Lord and this song because I thought I thought I would love nothing else when my tree was gone as her husband held me as I cryied and said my tree gone and she left this bush here.
