The South African National Civic Organisation says Thohoyandou and
surrounding areas have a long way to go to recover from the economic
impact resulting from the VBS Mutual Bank looting.
Thousands of people, including pensioners and the poor and businesses,
lost billions in life savings during the 2018 collapse.
Sanco's Esther Ramuhovhi says many businesses had to close shop after
losing their money.

I will believe that intimidation plays the main role. The perpetrators of VBS again show just how much the principles of black society abuse their own poor people. This is rampant all over Africa and in the poorest of states it is at its highest.

To my knowledge, SANCO is a Civic Organisation established by the community living in particular area or suburb as Representives to liase with Councillors with regard to pertinent issues affecting the community insofar as good governance and service delivery. The people serving in this organisation are the "The eyes and ears of the people " Unless, the people serving in this organisation are using it as a platform to make Politics as their career .
