As you talk about the Chinese farmer proverb, I'm thinking of you Lester. After the horrendous devastation left by Hurricane Harvey, instead of going under in defeat you decided that you would make a Sanctuary so that you could give animals the best life possible. You didn't start out to try to make YOUR life the best, your first heart desire was to make the best life you could for the animals that came to you. In doing so, the end result of your open heart and empathy not only built the best life possible for all your animals, but you've also built the best life possible for yourself & Jami & the boys & the animals, and your family members. It's so gratifying to see one unselfish wish turn into so much goodness. And that's all because of you, Lester, initially, and then now Jami has joined in this amazing life journey with you. Love and admire you all so much :)

What we love about the two of you is that you are real people with real emotions and reactions. I think most of us can relate. Don't change a thing.

Yes, I think it's the animals personalities. I love Cornholia. He is such a hoot. I love the adventures with the goats. I really miss the shenanigans with Tex. I loved when he would throw the hay up in the air and his back. I loved when he would run from the four wheeler. Maybe Tilly could go live with Bri after Bri enlarges her yard.

Preach it Jami! Maybe call it a “training collar” for the P-Pats. I had to buy one for a particularly rambunctious Beagle years ago. We have had many wonderful and well-behaved dogs through the years, but this little guy was one in a million. I loved him dearly, and while he was never abused he definitely didn’t get a “participation trophy”. Neither did I growing up. Maybe that’s why I have manners and don’t tell people how to run their lives or farms. 🤔😁❤️

Not long after watching Jackson Galaxy talk about the frugality of punishing cats (and I was agreeing with him in my mind the whole time) I yelled at my 6 month old kitten for reaching up the side of the kitchen counter and knocking two eggs on to the floor. GUILTY HUMAN I was so ashamed of myself, but at the time I was thinking about my limited food supply and a dwindling cash flow. The point; how can I expect you to be perfect. The long horns are so beautiful and ostrich ostriches are just so special the way they run and they turn little circles that just makes me feel so alive I enjoy it goats can be hard-headed and I'm hard headed so that I don't know I don't think I'd get along good with goats I might though but the birds they're just so sweet and they way they the babies jump around and turn it circles and run in the Longhorns I've never seen since you have moved all the Longhorns to your place how comfortable they feel I mean they are at home and Texas even laid back he's not on guard all the time

I think more people watch the goat videos because there are so many goats with special personalities. Ringo and Huck, Pickles with his deformed leg, Pebbles, and Lenny are favorites as well as Brady who always pushes everyone away from their food. I agree with the caller. I use it on my dog and he was chasing cars and barking at people when they would walk by. When you buy one it comes with a CD and it shows you how to use it and now all I do is turn it on. It beeps and my dog knows that's on but if I have it off he's gone. I've only had to shock them once now. I just beep him and he listens a lot of people don't like them. But like Jamie said, the world's all f***** up now. I agree with her too. I love the name Tilley! She seems so sweet! I couldn’t begin to know how raising an animal out of its habitation and ow hard it is hard to bring them back to what they need! We have a cat- Louee’! As a kitten he was raised with dogs, and so he thinks he’s a dog. Louee actually uses puppy pads and eats some dog food! Crazy…Cat + Dog = Dat! Lol 🤪
