I was an alcoholic for many years, suicidal, to the point of cursing god and ripping up a large bible, every minute of my day was wanting to be drunk enough to die painless, and i did come very close many times, but the lord saved me, then in 1981 i walked into a little church and gave my life to JESUS, we often sang this song, since then i have been singing for him and serving him the best i can, i am now 79, my first close call came at the age of 17, too young to die, ? No, many of my friends died decades ago, thank you lord JESUS ❤❤❤
