2000년대초반에 필리핀에서 10년동안 사업했던 사람인데 그때 산다라박이 오디션 프로그램에 참가해서 전체2등을 했었어요 초반에는 심사위원들이 엄청나게 날까롭게 비평했었는데 인기가 태풍이 되어서 지금의 블랙핑크이상으로 원탑이 되어 버렸음 2등한것도 사실상 인기는 산다라박이 월등했었는데 필리핀 텃세로 필리핀 남자배우가 일등하고 산다라박이 2등을 했음 몇년간 필리핀 최고의 인기를 누리다가 어느날 갑자기 소식이 안들리더니 한국에서 양현석이 데려 갔다고 하더라고요 몇년후 전설의 투애니원이 탄생 했었죠

산다라박 지금 대한민국의 블핑 BTS 임영웅급 인기 였어요 내가 필리핀에서 가게를 운영할때였는데 아침에 문열어놓고 텔레비젼 켜면 CF 광고와 드라마 쇼프로..... 하루종일 산사라박 나왔어요 한 체널만 아니고 이쪽저쪽 다....믿기지 않으시겠지만 정말이었어요 전국 헬기타고다니면서 공연하고 행사참여하고....그당시 기획사와 계약 이런거 잘몰라 돈은 별로 못 벌었다고 나중 토크쇼에서 이야기 하더라고요....하여간 어마어마했음..@@ohmalub

양현석이 대려간게 아니라 산다라가 그당시 인간극장에서 보니까 세븐이나 한국 가수들 팬이여서 필리핀에서 그 인기 접고 YG가서 오디션 봐서 붙은거 아니에요? 심지어 2NE1도 못들어갈뻔한거 노래방가서 양현석한테 막 열심히 노래하면서 춤 보여주니까 양현석이 그때 조금 인정하고 데뷔시켜준걸로 산다라가 직접 말했었어요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 무튼 인기는 진짜 어마어마 했었죠...인간극장만 봐도 거의 뭐 1등감인대 그 필리핀 남자가 1등가져갔으니.. 외모도 못생기고 뭐 별것도 없드만 ㅠ

To be fair her acting at that time is not that good compared to Hero Angeles who won the show, but yes she's very popular in the Philippines at that time and I think, partly because her Filipinos got interest with KPop and Kdrama.

Hi po actually inamin naman po mismo ni Sandara na di siya magaling. Sabi pa nga nya hindi talaga siya born talented in singing at dancing may guts lang talaga siya at pursigido siya. Sabi niya di rin siya dapat magdedebut with 2NE1 pero umaattend pa din siya sa mga trainings nuon ng tatlo at siya nangugulet na isama siya. Parang sa video ata yun ni Bambam.
