सनातन धर्म के अनुसार- 1.ईश्वर एक है लेकिन उसके रूप अनेक हैं। 2.ईश्वर अचिंत्य और आसोच्य है।ईश्वर में अनंत ब्रह्मांड व्याप्त है और अनंत ब्रह्मांड में ईश्वर है।पूरा ब्रह्मांड ईश्वर के अधीन है और स्वयं ईश्वर ब्रह्मांड के अधीन है।ईश्वर साकार,निराकार,सर्वत्र और एकत्र हर तरह विद्यमान है। ज्ञानियों का मस्तिष्क जिस तरह से भी ईश्वर को समझ पाया उतना ही व्याख्या कर पाया और हर किसी ने अपने अपने तरह से ईश्वर की परिभाषा गढ़ी। 3.ईश्वर अपरिभाषित,अपरिमेय और अनंत है । 4.ईश्वर अजन्मा है। 5.ईश्वर न जन्म लेता है और न ही पैदा होता है केवल ईश्वर द्वारा रचे हुए अपने रूप ब्रह्म,विष्णु और महेश और बाकी के देवताओं के माध्यम से अवतार लेता है। 6.ईश्वर कर्म बंधन से मुक्त होता है यानि कि वो पाप और पुण्य से मुक्त होता है अर्थात् योगेश्वर श्रीकृष्ण कर्म बंधन से मुक्त थे क्योंकि कर्म करते वक्त मनुष्य या तो पाप करता है या पुण्य करता है परंतु उन्हें भी मनुष्य का अवतार लेने के कारण पाप और पुण्य का फल भुगतना पड़ा परंतु ईश्वर के साक्षात रूप होने के नाते वो कर्म फल से मुक्त थे। वहम में जीने वाले मूढ़ बुद्धि और अहंकारी व्यक्ति अपने द्वारा और अपने हिसाब से चुने हुए ईश्वर को सर्वश्रेष्ठ और सही मानता है और दूसरे के द्वारा अनुभव किए हुए ईश्वर को गलत मानता है और ईश्वर के नाम पर इंसानों को मारने अपना दुश्मन समझने की मूर्खता करता है।🙏🙏🙏🙏
