I am a telugu guy from hyderabad. We also went crazy when arjun reddy released in 2017, like how india went crazy when kabir singh released. Then I started following him through his interviews and stuff. He is a brilliant talented guy with high emotional intelligence and IQ. See the way he discussed topics like PMS and other stuff which were never ever discussed on indian screen ( which i think a way to educate grey people) kudos to him for that. and also potrayed a grey dark movie so epically. He is mentally strong and actually most like kabir singh. He is actually seeming to be so cool and calm with Hindi interviewers compared to telugu.

I usually liked Sucharita a lot but this time I am so unhappy with her. She got her first 1M by reviewing this movie. She got all feminazi like never before. She called Preeti's love for Kabir as Stalkhome syndrome. She didn't comment on their acting performance. On the editing. The backdrop and the other technical aspects of the film which she usually does. She just starts ranting in her feminaazi best.

All Bollywood critics don't guts in balls . Even they don't judge movie. They don't know the art of film craft.

I watched both AR & KS. IMO Vijay & shalni did better than Shahid & Kiara respctly. Songs and bgm are better in AR. That bgm at the interval tussle when Arjun slaps Preeti is missing in KS..which took the shot to next level. That entire block in AR where his friends come to invite him to marriage is missing in KS. This is another important scene. Shiva's conversation with his dad is hilarious, which is too missing in KS. During heroine intro, that bgm song by Bombay Jayashree is very impactful, which is missing too. That Cheri Cheri lady song in bgm during the hero break-in into fracture case fiancee's house, synergizes the rawness of the scene, which is missing too, in KS. I didn't like that hindi bgm. Objectifying air hostess scene is missing too. Preeti screaming" don't remind me all that, I don't wanna see your face again" was nailed by shalni whereas Kiara was okay okay there. Most important character next to Arjun is SHIVA, in which, Rahul Ramakrishna has done brilliant BRILLIANT job Even grandma, Preeti's father characters are better in AR Coming to KS, the better blocks are Kabir chasing away servant maid, that sarcasm Shahid does imitating Shruthi(preeti's roomie) reg Preeti shifting to his hostel, when Preeti asks Kabir to kiss her right away while he's explaining that it's an orthodox college in Mussorie, hostel warden and others boys intimidated by Kabir, Laxman of KS is better than AR, that expression of Kabir when he sees alcohol in his bathroom cupboard. Even Shahid has done a fabulous job, but I incline for Vijay. AR/KS is not just movie. It's been 2 years since AR released, but we have been living with this guy. He's stuck deep in our heads. Movies come and go, never any movie was this impactful. Maybe becoz we connect to and relate to Arjun/Kabir's character. He's brutally honest. Inside each one of us, there is Arjun/Kabir, but we snub him and keep a plastic face. We have anger, jealousy, love, selfishness, ego, but in the name of "being nice", we brush them aside. Literally we live someone else's life. But Arjun/ Kabir lives his own. He doesn't listen or do what his brother, Kamal or shiva says. But when challenged with those situations, we listen to them. We don't do what Arjun/Kabir does, though we wish to. That made us connect & relate to him. Many people say they hate AR/KS movie, but they secretly, unknowingly love it n root for him.

That's true. The critics kind of try to create an impression out of a scene which even the film's director might not have had in mind! They modify the meaning of a scene negatively and try to push that impression onto audiences through their reviews.

I watched the movie Kabir Singh/Arjun Reddy twice, I loved the movie. I feel the movie is just a movie and nothing to get inspired from it. When I watched it for the second time, believe me there was nothing odd that i found in the movie but pure and passionate love for each other and as a girl I would love to have someone who loves me as Kabir. The direction, the screenplay, the actors are all brilliant; loved it. Coming to the first scene which has caused so much of fuss, if one could see it carefully, Arjun receives the call from that girl (fracture case fiancée was the caller name ) it was then he goes down to meet her, it was mutual and not forced, it looked forced as she resisted him only when her fiancée knocked the door. With the actress it was also mutual, so what was wrong shown here and in fact nothing happened between them. As far as the slapping scene goes, he slapped her once, she slapped him more than once later in the movie. The scene required it as it was an intense scene, and he slapped her to make her understand the severity of the situation as he felt she was not as passionate about love as he was. I feel most of the people who are commenting negative about the movie are the once who have just watched the trailer and judged the movie or just listened to the feminist critics’ talking negative about the movie. As the movie has been given A rating, i think it is fine for the movie to b watched by grown up adults. To the critics’ we have seen even worse movies that are made here. Lets sit back and appreciate the hard work that is put in by all those that are involved in the making of Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh.

But one day before watching the movie I saw the review of Suchitra Tyagi... And then when I watching the movie her words were coming through my mind and comparing the scenes again and again.! And the conclusion was that movie was superb.. so gone again to watch the movie again and enjoyed it !
