Sandeep Reddy Vanga is an Indian film director, screenwriter and editor who made his debut with the blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy (2017). He then ventured into Bollywood and made successful films like Kabir Singh (2019) and Animal (2023) the latter being one of the all-time highest grossing Indian film.

My native is Jharkhand!! I was born and brought up in Vizag!! It is so nice that I no longer have to introduce the cinema I watch to my cousins!! Also Salaar will make more money in Hindi than in Telugu!! It shows that Hindi speaking audience are accepting this kind of cinema!! Proud of TFI!! I hope Telugu and Hindi actors and directors work together in the near future (btw I’m aware of War 2)!! But more such projects are needed!!

this guy really puts a lot of thought into his filmmaking; I don't agree much with how he rationalized the misogyny in the film, and that's one thing he could consider changing in his future films. but he's atleast honest. he's trying to explain to us and take us through it so we can understand his thought process. he's not sugarcoating anything, and that's very rare and shows how passionate he really is.

Yes no one could show pubic hair scenes, underwear scenes, ball rashes like Sandeep Reddy Banga. Hopefully more movies are made with pubic hair then surely they could make 1000cr movie. Hopefully other directors also learn to give more pubic hair, underwear and kissing sex scenes. Then they too would be good filmmakers. Banga would definitely inspire more directors to add pubic hair scenes. Then more blue films could be made in India as India is becoming bold country now. We need pubic hair

He’s best director for pubic hair and underwear. No director has shown us ball rashes till now until Sandeep. He’s changing Indian cinema, now more directors would also be inspired and make pubic hair movies. That way Indian cinema landscape would change and bra straps and underwear would be there for 1000cr movie

A beautiful point I caught... but only in 6th watch (5th hindi watch (once in telugu))... shows Vanga's directorial brilliance 👇 kid ranvijay sleeps with dad bday wish card in hand. balbir reads when ranvijay was asleep. in climax after “roles reverse” scene… in the corridor… balbir says exactly what was there in bday wish card to ranvijay agle janm mein tu papa main beta - pyaar mat karna uske agle janm mein phir tu beta phir main papa - tab dekhna main tumko kitna pyaar karthaa hoon Ranbir gives delicate expression which means “oh!… so dad saw my bday wish card!!!” DID ANY ONE NOTICE THIS❓

Animal was bloody brilliant. I was also spewing venom on the film and as a result I missed it on the big screen and had to watch in on OTT. The "shoe" scene has been completely taken out of context by Javed Akhtar. In fact there are scenes where the protagonist is sitting at the feet of his sisters and later wife with love and respect among 100s of scenes where the protagonist is vulnerable/unsure/getting slapped by his elders and never grudges it. So there is something very fishy about this negative propaganda. I more than suspect that there is something else that Javed chacha didn't like about this film and this "shoe licking" distraction is a decoy for that. 😂 As a woman, I'm totally chill with what you have done in Animal. It's a work of masterful subversion and this man is a genius!
