Interesting to see CB opening the bowling as well as the batting now. Back in his Waterlooville days I can’t remember ever facing him, remember running around the outfield a fair bit leather chasing but don’t ever recall him bowling.

As a Worcestershire person myself it’s great to hear 3 Worcester based players have joined sanderstead and doing such a great job for the club.

Great win on what looked like a low scoring wicket at first until Sanderstead made it look easier. The 3 guys from Redditch (my old dads birthplace) really are a great assett to the club, and as mentioned are there to stay. No idea where Chris Baumann has arrived from, but he must be the best new arrival you have had for years. Bowling superbly and then opening the batting at 40 seems to always give the team a sound foundation. Real formiddable opening bowling partnership with Simon Carter. I see only positives on the horizon and hope this team stick together for years to come. Competition from the 2s is also good. Dan, just to say that you have done another brilliant job with the guy at Streetly from Sutton Coldfield. Another brilliant site for us cricket Nomads with a little time on our hands, when our other halves are otherwise occupied 😂

Someone needs to get Tyler moving his feet hardly moved towards or got far enough across to that ball when He got out. Sadly, I could never aspire even to the heights of village cricket - I turned out for my school 4th XI (many decades ago!) when they were desperate to make up the numbers and if you had been commentating on my performances you may well have said: "His boundless enthusiasm is matched by his utter lack of talent." "He was brought in from point to silly point. Now he has been brought in to ridiculous point. His captain probably hopes he can stop the ball with some part of his body." "He doesn't bat defensively but swings at every ball. Some would call his batting offensive." "That outswinger was far too good for him. In fact any ball is too good for him." Happy days!

That decision for Tyler was maybe debatable. Tyler still gave the chance a genuine sportsman would of said straight away I never took the catch cleanly and recinded the decision. But as for all the teams the appeal is left for the umpire and.the umpire had dought.And swung in the favour of the appeal this I'd the same for both side if left to this. However if Tyler had moved his feet across and got in line a bit better we would not be looking at themis situation and work out with the correct help in the nets would should make days like far less and and in return put many more runs for Sanderstead and Tyler!!!
