It's a song about yearnings by the army men for their home, native and folks back home. The translation for the first few lines would be... Whenever the letters from home come, it just makes us more anxious and we yearn for our home all the more. In these letters they keep asking us when are you coming back home, without you home does not feel like home, it feels very barren. So on and so forth...

In short explanation , this song is full of patriotic feeling & family message and letter from a mother to her son, from a wife to her husband, from a sister to her brother. Over all ,some of our indian army are shown enjoying their letters and some are remembering their families & friends . Asking wind for help to touch his mother's feet in the name of her son who is far away , also for his lover to give sympathy & message her “ one day he will come back to make her happy and to take care “. Edit :- INDIAN Army is very disciplined, passionate, dedicated towards his duty for nation. Also....As in PKF (peace keeping force) , UN united nation has been recruited and commissioned largest no. When a soldier saw that the wind can take away his letter,He is requesting the blowing wind to go to his village , whare his old mother is all alone and waiting for him to comeback ,and give a message of his love and tell her that his son loves him like anything,and will definitely be back. The emoticon takes me far away ,we all love our soldier and nation .

Dear Ma'am. You don't know how much we guy's miss our home and our family. And back those times when no high use of cellphones are common only means of communication was by postal letters. I remember I write letters 2/3 times in a week to my family, my little brother and my relatives. Even today I have kept those letters written to me in 2001/2002. Those are so precious to us and I remember those days how desperately we used to wait for a letter from home. That moment when we got a letter from the post man was the happiest moment for us, while sitting at some terrain forward posts.

They say The letters asks them to come home soon everytime The feilds, river, soil, tears of mother, trees, childhood days and many more asks them to come home They ask flowing air to send their presence to their mothers, wives, children and village and town evryone and they believe they will come safe from war and again meet their family, soil river tress of their village

The Pakistani side suffered 200 casualties and lost more than 500 vehicles including about 35 tanks. The Indian side lost only two soldiers and a jeep mounted recoil less rifle gun was destroyed. I proudly salute our Army. Jai Hind.
