‘Sandeshkhali voters threatened’: On the campaign trail with BJP’s Basirhat pick

The Sandeshkhali incident is now a focal point of the poll campaign in West Bengal, with the Trinamool trying to pitch it as BJP’s bid to defame the state and hurt “Bengal pride”. And the BJP in turn pointing to lawlessness and political patronage to criminals.
Amid that war of words, Rekha Patra has emerged as a symbol of the Sandeshkhali violence, having been picked as the BJP candidate from Muslim majority Basirhat - which is seeing a triangular contest this time, with TMC’s Haji Nurul Islam against Patra and CPIM’s Nirapada Sardar.
The Trinamool, meanwhile, is circulating a purported sting video to claim that the Sandeshkhali sexual harassment allegations were financially and politically motivated.
We followed Patra on her campaign trail, and asked her about the issue.

Please news laundry show the both sides, apart from the string video, 2 /4victims who earlier did fir now coming and telling that they were misguided by rekha patra, and they signed in blank paper with only complaint of due salary.For own benefit bjp changed it to rape without informing them, they went to police station and told the truth about no sexual assault had happened how bjp misguided and troubled them, They are now ashamed and took oath thet they will fight against bjp(cz they are in prblm)-- reference news18 bengali.

Remember Park Street rape case and what pishi said that time, and what was courts order? The same Tamal Saha went to Sandeshkhali earlier and did a ground report. Soon after Sheikh Shahjahan ran away from Sandeshkhali and media cameras started reaching there the women came on the road. Politicians went there a week later. Sandeshkhali women have been raped by the mighty system made by Mamta.

@@paras2244In Tamal Saha's video, the women said that they HEARD that people were picked up for TMCs offices, nobody SAW or KNOW got raped. Even Tamal Saha said that there's no proof till now. Valid about the Park St incident though, but Kolkata is still the safest place for girls according to the stats.
