ITS CHRISTMAS EVE DAY!!
A day of traditions for me.
Coffee with my dear friend Virginia who has been my rock over the years...
Groceries because my kids already devoured what was planned for Christmas eats.
A visit from a wonderful family who make it tradition for them to see our lambs every 3 months.
Christmas eve movie night, and snacks with my family.
AND A DOG WHO ATE AN ENTIRE PLATE OF CHEESE! (hopefully not a new tradition...)
A few odd jobs in the barn, but taking some time to watch healthy, happy lambs jump, frolic and run, quite honestly takes my breath away with love.
Besides home, there is no where I'd rather be today on Christmas Eve day.

Seeing the lambs frolicking, bouncing and hanging with their peers..that and the background music ‘Oh Christmas Tree’, known to me as ‘O Tannenbaum’ from my early ‘50’s years as a child stationed in West Germany...those together warmed my heart.

I absolutely love watching lambs frolicking and stampeding like that, ever since I helped the shepherd on the farm next door since I was 5, throughout my school days until I went to college. He let my sister and I take care of a flock of 100+ pregnant ewes, as they were out in a huge field between 2 villages, if there were any problems we weren’t able to do, we’d get mum to ring him up and he’d come over to sort it out. Sometimes my sister and I would get the ewe back to the barn if there were problems with the lamb/s before calling the shepherd. It taught us soo much about responsibility form a young age. I absolutely miss it thanks to the new farm tenant bringing in steers😢

I agree. Baby lambs are the cutest. And baby goats. If I had an acreage, I definitely would have a couple of goats. 🙂

If you did short few minutes long of just lambs playing bet you would get a lot of watch's and shares. Merry Christmas. My 92 yr old daddy is in the hospital. So I keep looking at the lambs at play and smile

Merry Christmas. Thanks for taping lots of the lambs frolicking. My first animal addiction was TinyKittens then added baby goats, and your lambs are the most recent. I just love the hopping play fighting stage. When they figure out what their legs can do there is no stopping them. I never knew how they jump on all the Moms. So freaking cute. Thanks for the present.

Sandi with cuteness overload is just as adorable as the lambs jumping around like a pan of popcorn 🥰. Although I love the chaos of Christmas Day with kids running around screaming & adults trying to open toys that have been made way too complicated or desperately searching for space in the fridge for leftovers. It’s lovely to spend a quiet Christmas Eve with just your household, a sparkly tree & some nice snacks

A whole new meaning to Having spring in your step!! My baby pigs 🐖 did the same thing.They would get tried out and just stop and fall asleep 😴. I loved to watch because it meant they were healthy. Your lambs are super!!

Watched this one (4 years late! Never do anything on time,lol) It was really nice. I was unable to celebrate Christmas this year but it was lovely to see you digging into the little nibbles like we do. I love Boxing Day because we have cold turkey, bubble and squeak, cauliflower cheese, and if you're very lucky a left over pig in blanket.I loved seeing the lambs bouncing about...that must be why they call them spring lambs🤣😂

They’re soooo adorable❣️ Praise the Lord you’ve had such a healthy group❣️ I still think it’ll be interesting to see if the group overall is bigger lambs with the added stress of the barn roof on the mums. I could watch all day too 10:40 just warms my heart to see all those lil ones. Oh my goodness, I guess I haven't noticed before -- Jack is a 'carbon copy' of dad. :) We watch Christmas Vacation at least 7+ times the week of Christmas. A Very Merry Christmas to the Brock Family from NH.
