A newscast so good producer Erik Sorenson wanted to save it. Sitting on a shelf for decades, it's a treat to see. Starring KFMB-TV legends anchors Michael Tuck and Allison Ross, weatherman Clark Anthony, and sports anchor Ted Leitner. Editorial director Harold Keen completes the newscast handing out a good citizen award. Commercials are taken out but television show teases like Dallas are left in. Thank you for posting this. It seems like something small, but keeping and sharing this historic broadcast from the days of our youth is important , just as much as history books in school are, yet better.

That first news report about the wreck is like a opening scene right out of CHiPs. Was waiting for the CHiPs theme to start playing.

I interned at News 8 in the summer of 2001 (the 2nd Michael Tuck era). He showed me a photo on his bookshelf of a newsroom staff photo in 1981. Mostly the same people as here. That cute Bronco woman has seen her team play in seven super bowls since this night 😉

HA!.... neither the Chargers nor Broncos made the Superbowl in Pasadena that Year....was the Raiders....who went onto win it.... lololol The weatherman using actual chalk on a chalkboard...well that's 1 area where We've kinda evolved some

Oue beloved Ted Sports writer. Being a San Diego Native ive learned if your not a sports professional or a person of high status IE. Actoor/Actress. High level politics. He won't give you the time or day of having a conversation with you. .
