Another great video, thanks for sharing the info with us. i would also like to know more about the stand for the wheel, did you make it or buy it? Some of us would like to know more about it, maybe you could sell them if you do not already. Sure looks like it makes polishing easier. Thank You.

I’ve been doing a lot of polish lately and mostly pickup truck, suv, and motorcycle aluminum rims, and I realize I don’t have a system really worked out yet because I’m still learning. I’ve been doing a lot of hand sanding to the point my hand quit working. My question to you is how am I supposed to sand around spokes on different styles of wheels? A lot of times the machines are to big to fit. Any advice would be appreciated. Another question I had is all aluminum the same? I couldn’t get a Harley wheel that I stripped the powder coat off of to shine like other wheels I sanded and polished.

I do smaller wheels for SUVs and pickups everyday and though our methods differ, I liked this video. I suggest trying some "clean-n-strip" discs on a right angle die grinder. They rip the clear right off, and take it to metal if you work it a little harder. They also work great for cleaning up the lip near the tires. I like your spin hub, I'm gonna build me one too!

Where can I find the spinning wheel holder you have the tire on while polishing? What do you call it. I've been trying to find something like that online but no luck.

Superiorpowerwash asked for information on the stand that rotates wheels while sanding. I didn't see a reply. Is such a stand made one can buy or is yours homemade? Where can I get info on this Thanks
