Speed gave me butterflies….years later she & Keanu admitted they fancied each other! What a gorgeous couple they would have made inside and out ❤

It was so strange when Rosie said Sandra played a woman humiliated by her man. Then life imitated art. So glad that she triumphed and has a good life now.

I was in Düsseldorf, Germany, this last august... and in some bakery/lunch place there was a waitress working who is the spitting image of Sandra Bullock....

She doesn't strike me as German at all, neither in looks or character. I wouldn't be surprised if she had Irish or French ancestry, always loved and appreciated her talent regardless.

She’s only half German.

Hope Floats was a flop. People wanted a comedy not a dramedy. Sandy rebounded a couple years later with Miss Congeniality.

That’s your opinion. The movie got mostly positive reviews by viewers and movie critics

@@jillian5582 Spoken like a true blue frau swaddled in her throw blanket watching ads for Boniva & Peptiva while scrolling online for scented candles & "Live Laugh Love" wall art. Hope Flops cost over $81M & made $30M. It also has a rating of 27% which maintains the sentiment from back in the day. A ridiculously expensive, sentimental melodrama fit for Lifetime/Hallmark. In the business, we call that a FLOP.
