A lot of people think people of East Asian descent only have long, straight, and sleek hair. I have thick, curly, and poofy hair. I love it but growing up, it was a journey to understand and appreciate my hair. Thank you for bringing a different view of beauty to our community.

It’s been a long journey for me to love my hair. People use to come up to me and say “What are you?” rather than asking what my ethnicity is because my community could not fathom a 100% Asian person with curly hair. Love ya Sandra Oh! ❤️

Her hair looks like mine- sometimes wavy, sometimes curly, and sometimes everything together. I hated it since I was a little girl, every morning styling it would bring me to tears and I seriously cosidered shaving it for the most part of my life. But now, every day I learn something new about my hair type, experiment with different hairstyles, different washing methods, and I kinda love it now! It definitely isn't perfect, and some days I still get frustrated and angry while trying to do a simple hair bun, but Sandra truly inspires me to love my hair a little every day. Growing up I always wanted Curly hair because my moms best friend has beautiful tight curls, but now that I am older , I realize how much work it actually is to take care of curly hair and love my straight thick hair. Don't get me wrong, it is not perfect and mine is usually puffy untouched but it's way less work and product to buy than curly hair. But curly hair is gorgeous

My hair now is Sandra Oh’s hair during S1 of Grey’s Anatomy. My question is how do I get from 2005 Sandra Oh hair to 2020 Sandra Oh hair. Her hair isn’t curly it’s wavy, my boyfriends hair is exactly the same . When u met him his hair was long and wavy, once he cut it all off his hair that grew out was straight and continued to grow out straight and his hair is once again wavy

ice cream no it is not. If a persons hair is curly they’re short bald hair growing out would be curly . So no her hair is not curly . The movement she makes as her hair is drying causes it to wave up. I’m sure when she gets out the shower all she does is just scrunch her hair up to make it look like that or she just drys it with a towel. Like I said my bf hair did the exact same it looked curly but in all actuality it was not . Currently his hair is growing out from being short and is NOT curly it is straight . What u call curly hair is my hair 🤷🏽‍♀️

She doesn't have straight hair, that's for sure. She wouldn't be able to obtain it if she didn't have any ki d of curl. Of course she scrunches it. Most people with nice curly hair do that, even those with way more curly hair. Ever heard of the curly girl hair method? There's different types of curly hair.

minha relação com meu cabelo é que eu amo meu cabelo, tenho muita sorte. Meu cabelo faz isso, quero dizer, obviamente não sem esforço. Isso não acontece o tempo todo, eu só fiz uma sessão de fotos. (Risos) (Quão importante é seu cabelo para killing Eve?) Você realmente teria que perguntar a Phoebe Waller-Bridge como meu cabelo se tornou um ponto narrativo para killing Eve. É como se houvesse algo de livre ou selvagem na natureza de Eve que eu acho que transparece no cabelo. Os cabeleireiros me disseram que meu cabelo fará o que você pedir. Não foi sempre assim... quando eu cresci... era basicamente uma massa fofa. Mesmo em meus 20 e poucos anos, eu ainda não conseguia descobrir meu cabelo. (Seu cabelo exige muita manutenção?) Não consigo imaginar meu orçamento para a quantidade de produto que uso. Eu poderia pegar um frasco inteiro de produto e colocar no meu cabelo e você nunca notaria. É como se você nunca fizesse isso. Sempre sei que alguém não entende meu cabelo quando vem até mim com uma escova de cabelo. (Algum segredo sobre o estilo?) Acho que uma das melhores dicas que recebi é não lavar o cabelo o tempo todo. Nem todo mundo consegue, quem não consegue, shampoo a seco... A toalha que você usa, a secadora que você usa, a fronha que você usa. Tudo isso afeta... de maneiras minúsculas. Mas eu amo meu cabelo.
