Oh so lovely to see you again! Liked how you changed the Garters Ahoy into a sunset. That fade is gorgeous. I got so inspired I pulled out my copy of the Garters Ahoy pattern and some yarn gifted to me awhile ago and have started a second one. I also recently started crocheting the Star Blanket. I am SO thankful you taught us how to read charts during the Natures Walk CAL because I mostly skipped the written directions and just started crocheting from the chart. So THANK YOU for that new skill - not to mention your lovely patterns.

Lovely projects! Lots of big projects on the go does lead to fatigue. At least for me it does. I’ve also been thinking about a fade crochet sweater.

I love your fade in the Garters Ahoy shawl. I have never tried a fade but this just might be my first one to try. I do not have a huge yarn stash of single skeins so I may have to go shopping! Poor me!! LOL

I like the blanket as it is. I don't think it needs a bigger border. I really love the color and simplicity of the pattern! I agree the shawl looks like a sunrise more than a sunset. It is beautiful! It really looks pretty with your coloring! The chair covers are really charming!

I'm glad you kept the brown shades in the granny blanket, Sandra. The darker tones lift the other colours. I think the simple granny stitch round the edge is sufficient but if you decide it needs a little something extra, why not go for a small cream picot? I love the riot of colour shawl.... xx

I just had a thought for your gray/blue/cream blanket (granny)... I like it as you have it now... with only the 1 row of granny's, but what if you just bordered the top and bottom edges with a bunch of tiny tightly made pom-poms going across. It wouldn't get all frumpy like fringe can get and would give just a little inch-worth of something on the top edge and bottom edge. I love it!

Your granny Stripe blanket is gorgeous! I would add nothing to the border, maybe a row of sc for stability.

Also, Sandra... with your bits of stash yarn, why not make up a bunch of one-off design/color placemats? I've been doing that and I have a lovely pile of them all out in the eating area of the kitchen and I just change them every week for washing and I love having that pop of different colors each week! I make them either by C2C pattern or the brick stitch pattern. oxo

Arne and Carlos have a solution for twisted cast-ons, so easy you could not believe it! I'm using my single skeins in projects that call for double strands (Like Le Pouf). Love your shawl!

Lovely podcast. I think it is better to go with the flow if you feel your mojo ebbing. Little projects are perfect for this I find, plus changing craft type sometimes too. The chair covers will be so worth it :)

On the blanket, have you considered a 'crab' stitch? I've used it on a baby blanket, it's a nice but not large finish. The shawl I beautiful on you.
