perfect, I'm not big into symbolism but it is a good juxtaposition from the intense chaotic energy that is conjured up by the original track, also, cowboys love water and he picked a right proper spot for this awesome performance (sorry i didn't have any bridge jokes that weren't overly complicated) carry on

I own a carbon fiber acoustic from a different manufacturer. The soundhole is in the same position. It's not even a circle, but pill shaped. Could be something that wouldn't be practical with a wooden top/body, but works perfectly fine with carbon fiber.

@@SvenBolz you can get them in wood too - see the Lindo Neptune. It was probably started by the carbon fibre guitar scene though, many have them. The Lindo guitar is very bass-y so that might be a reason why. Side effect is its easy to carry and retrieve dropped picks 😀

Ovation guitars are like this. Gibson had a classical that had the sound hole in the back... I really liked that one.

I think that brand: Ovation often used that form, although they sort of combined the idea with less low end resonance (a few circles on the guitar body, as opposed to one open point). Their guitars are also usually acoustic/electric hybrids. They usually made it look like maple leaf patterns with a cutaway neck. Cutaway guitar necks are actually quite fun for most styles. You can get some awesome tap harmonics and high string/pitch solo features. That logic probably makes sense when it has a pre-amp and internal pickup attached. They can use the natural resonance of a guitar body to combine with the preamp in a way that prevents undesirable amplified noise. This guitar that Luca is playing can be played in a form where every fret is naturally playable, due to the cutaway neck.

My wife and I love your music/videos, so much so that 18 months ago we named our son Luca! And it was an easy decision, we kept coming back to the name when trying to decide. 99.9% of all guitar players couldn’t do this sitting down with no one watching and all the focus in the world. Luca does it while being filmed and taking a stroll. Otherworldly. Bravo!

Well these type of videos are usually sound recorded in a studio then mixed/layered, after that they record a cool looking video separate for entertainment. I'm not saying he isn't good, because he is, just saying that what you hear probably wasn't while being filmed and taking a stroll. If I'm wrong then that's even more impressive

@@wolfemancola Judging by the description and doing a cursory glance at the gear he used and is visible in the video, I’d bet you’re watching the recording. If he’d like to correct me, I’d be more than willing to accept my wrongness. And even if it’s not the recording, he’s definitely playing the composition in its entirety while walking. Be impressed 🙂

You usually don't want to record music outdoors due to the nature of being outside. People make noises, cars honk, bird chirp, winds blow. None of which is good for a quality mix. Any guitarist anywhere close to Luca's level is recording indoors. Also, when recording guitar, you want to record twice so you can pan the audio to the left and right ear. So man's played it a ton.

@@mr.thomas6348 Funny you mention birds chirping. You can hear them in the mix. I will concede it is probably a mix of studio and whatever is being added in post. The only thing that makes me wonder though is the lack of an earpiece (or at least I can’t see one) to make sure, tempo wise, both the video and audio align.
