It's Annual Sandwich Day at TGS and Liz's (Tina Fey) sandwich is stolen! Also, Liz gets a call from Floyd, who is now her ex-boyfriend, to stay with her overnight because his flight was cancelled.

when i did heroin, coke etc and lived alone i would watch my 30 rock dvds on repeat. it sucks i cant watch this show without thinking about that time in my life. cause i liked it a lot, and these characters kept me company during a really dark time

Because real people (especially over a decade ago) aren't perfect and say things that they shouldn't. Her character is flawed. If it were set today, no, she wouldn't say that because language and understanding have evolved. But back then, it was less of an outright offensive term, and more just an inappropriate one. You can't hold decades past to today's standards. That's just ridiculous.
