About the talk:
To understand the antiquity of Indian Civilization it is extremely important to understand the
narrative imposed on Historiography - the Colonial, Euro-centric, Missionaries, Socialist Academia bias, Marxist effect. In this talk, the speaker highlights several fascinating facts about ancient Indian astronomy, bringing to fore the deliberate distortions injected by Western agencies.
Over many thousands of years, the brilliant celestial nightly displays over the unpolluted dark skies of ancient India led to astronomy becoming an integral part of the rhythm of life, paralleling the cosmic cycles, as ancient Indians sought to make sense of the skies, leading to building up of an enormous corpus of astronomy knowledge.
About the Speaker:
Raj Vedam holds a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering with many years of multi-disciplinary experience, and has developed a strong research interest in the history of sciences, mathematics and technology. His research shows unacknowledged but significant contributions of ancient Indians to sciences and math, impacting several civilizations over different periods of time. While Western texts on the subject enforce a parochial narrative sourcing all sciences and math from ancient Greece or Rome or Egypt, Raj Vedam presents contrary facts and evidence to show their indebtedness to the Indian civilization. He has presented his findings in over 200 public talks, several teacher training workshops, several research publications, and offers two courses on the same at Hindu University of America.

Never use the word research, their is not done anything since last 86 years after 1945 lady jyotish sambelana 3 legend rdone some what one from Gujrat one from poona and third one is from belgaon karnataka,.. Itvis afact of our Indic Culture ..that common people could read the clouds, the sky... The loght of the sky..the constellations n know the time of day. The farmers didn't really need anyone to tell them, when to sow..or whether a drought was coming in. Or floods ..etc or even just a regional or locsl storm n prepare for it. Thos was the level of Scientific Knowledge and skill in the most ordinary people across the spectrum.

The source and our ideology is very important when we deal the past. There is a lot of scope for subjectivity. Highly simplified the other ideologies to highlight Hinduism. Socialism and Marxism are not against knowledge whether ancient or modern but against the discrimination. This lecture is sidelining the oppressive and social discrimination character that existed in Hinduism.

29.53×12 months =354.36 or 354 days lunar calender 365-354=11 days short 2.7 years=2.7×11=29.7 or 1 lunar month add after 2.7 years constellation is called as adik maas

Sir i agree with you. All these people left india more than 70 years ago. what today so called indian politicians doing, why couldn't they bring Indian astrogical knowledge back again. Beings social scientist we cant forget the evil cultures existed in India such as sati sahagamana, human sacrifices of babies and innocent women for seeking treasures, Kesha mundana for widows, no marriage for widows, LGBT rights were distorted so on and more evil cast system in India where genetic evidence says not difference in gene based on caste system. We social scientists not bothered about any religion, only our concentration is how any good practices benifits the society. Rather beating around the bush which religio is superior or inferior. In my opinion both two extremes science and religion are more harming the universe in the name of superiority rather doing good to all creatures and universe to exist and not letting it for extinction. 52:13 There is French astronomer who visited Pondicheri to observe Venus passing over Sun challenged the local astrologer to do find the time of transit! That astrologer took one hour and predicted the time which amused the astronomer and he had documented the calculation in his French book! If anyone can research on that math and explain how that was done, I will be grateful to that person! You can google this! In Wikipedia out of shame they have written local astronomers instead of astrologer😂

I don't know anything about wokeism, something I skip as if it doesn't exists. But what I find interesting is that the left claims victim hood. The only reason I can think of is that hole life's are dominated by a right wing narrative as superior. Due to black and white thinkers. You can't claim victim hood if you are the dominant group. Maybe I am wrong about that too. It is a vision of emptyness because it refuses to see strength and value. On the other hand why is victim hood so despised? It seems to me narcissistic because it denies the other acknowledgement of suffering. It is an intolerant, impatient view. It is like saying don't bother me about that. But how can you do healing without all the facts? Victim hood requires inner strength to overcome it. It is like the phoenix. Another question is so we help others who are unfortunate because of their strength or because we see victim hood? What are the triggers that let us come to help others? All these words are copycats, but never deeply thought about. They confuse more than they're helpful. I enjoy the rigorous way of clarification. Somehow the West has its own trauma's. It is not clear to me why this collective lying is so pervasive. There is something peculiar about it. As if they want to redo their origin story. Did the Romans practice the same habits?

Arya simply means noble. when our ancestors graduated from brahmacharya sadhana from gurukul education systems they were known as aryas. you only become an arya when you the pure consciousness master all your 5 senses (gyanendriyas), 5 karmendriyas and other 64 arts and sciences.
