Year 1999 has been treat for rahmaniacs - sangamam, mudhalvan, thakshak, tajmahal, taal. All super duper songs!!! Rahman was in full form this year like Sachin in Sharjah :)

Karthik Vadapalli yes bro that's right. Even those were sensational hits! Wonder why ARR is not able give such hits now. He seems to be experimenting a lot and not sticking to his fundamentals. Last good album according to me was VTV.

May be now u may feel like that bro...but jus keep watching....After a longer period of time its only his albums that stick to people...people tend to forget the the composers songs bro after a long run...mayb now they are turning into instant hits...but not on the long run....That time...again as u told...Rahman and his songs will be remembered only....trust me..:) :) :)

I'm 1981 born year. My 90s was coloured with this magician music. Each time a song is release, I will be the first to be buying because the shop owners always see me asking for that album. I remember my first salary I had was like RM120. The first thing I bought was Padaiyappa CD RM30+ and it is still kept new in my CD rack.... Long live this genius.

10 and 11. Rahman just sweeped all of his critics claimed he dont know folk music those days.. hardly I am in 10th grade I guess. Karuthamma and Kizhakku Cheemaiyile was to be a good album. But Sangamam is a pure magic.. with Classic and Folk
