Recorded while in Hinigaran, Philippines. GM Rene Tongson breaks down the "Sangga Patama." A movement that emphasizes the single strike which includes a defensive position. It has both an offensive and defensive move all in one. Done with a single stick as a reference.

He definitely has charisma in connecting with the training group. Nice person inside and outside of the training space. Once you get him with the fellow GM's, it's all laughs and jokes.

Good stuff, from the presentation it look GM Rene does a great job of breaking things down to a 1, 2, and 3 beat movements.

We noticed that too, he doesn't go off on tangents or going into to many variations at once. Gives you enough to train and then builds off it.

Thanks for the video. Based on what I know of it so far, I like GM Rene's ATP system. The curriculum seems well laid out.

Based off what we observed, GM Rene scaffolds the curriculum so it builds off easily for people to follow. Not too much fancy moves, and as the name goes "abaniko tres puntas" literally translates to fan and three points.

Вряд ли кто прочтёт, но всё же... Показанный укол такой длинной палкой - сомнительно. Нужна крепкая кисть для этого. Понятно, что здесь палка - вынужденная замена клинка, но и для клинка нужна крепкая рука. Да и где сейчас с клинком будешь ходить, это незаконно... Тем не менее, видео интересное. Всем спасибо за его создание и показ. С меня лайк).
