I have been to Nagaland so so many times and no one has offered me this. I feel so wronged😭😭😭😭😭😭 next time I will ask for it. What is it called in your local language? It might not be Nagaland but I will go wherever I can eat this 😭

Actually bamboo shoot should not cooked with turmeric.... if mixed with turmeric it's get hard.. bamboo shoot curry is regular curry in northeast india

Being a northeastern, it's sad to watch because they just destroyed bamboo shoot recipe. Ps- bamboo shoot is an emotion more than anything

Bamboo shoot is my life i can't live without bamboo shoot.. Bamboo shoot recipes are only for northeast people. Today only i keep bamboo shoot for fermentation.

Ver funny ha ha Mr if u know something every region in this world prepares the food on their own ways, that's we see variety of dishes from all over the world with same ingredients, it's all about the recipe every region has... Also FYR in coorg bamboo shoots are pickled, diff types of Currys ,with coconut, with pork is prepared, also there's a fry it's different recipes from each other. Without even tasting do not comment, before underestimating a country be a human.

Mehnaz, I agree that it could be your prime dish, but it doesn't mean it can't be someone else's prime dish as well ,I don't know if you have any idea about our region may be you should Google it to know better, I have not mentioned anything against your region or anyone else's, And FYR the lady is in cooking show is from our region and she's shown the recipe of our region what's big deal in it? Nobody owns of what mother earth gives us.... FYR we are one of the largest growers of coffee in india and we know our own way of preparing coffee but will that mean that another coffee region in india or any part of world can't have their own ways of preparing coffee or maybe variety of biriyani, fishes ( we get fish everywhere,every region has it's own way of preparing) That's how diversity work fyr I hope you got the point if not am sorry I am not in to argue with anyone here.also I replied to the person who was mocking on my country's food culture by mentioned "indian masala"

Oh no don't use alot of masala while cooking bamboo shoots.......coz we North East people eat it with alot of ways without putting so many spices ..........Also try some North East dishes like pork and bamboo shoots boil curry , bamboo shoots with rice flour curry etc ....... please don't spoil it .......It's an our main dish

😔😔😔😔So Sad to see with typical masala with bamboo shoot 😳😳😳😳 I think it tasted awfulllll... Try our different mouth watering Manipuri style of cooking with bamboo shoots.
