The vials are maybe more of a restraint, given he gets his magical powers from them, just as much as he get his feelings. But, I agree on the fact Ink may be underestimated by a lot of people. Just like most people (or at least those I have seen) tend to make out Dream and Blue for weaker than they are. In canon Underswap, the only reason Blue isnt in the royal guard is because he has 1 HP, not even because of the "he is too kind" problem that Papyrus has. As for Dream, well, people he get the same treatment. (Dream and Blue suffers from the fact that because they are kind, people think they are weak, as if those words were synonimus, when they aren't.) Ink meanwhile get the backlash of people being upset at him when they realises he isn't as kind as they are, but rather selectiely kind to people. (Either he has something to gain, or you are just not on his bad side)

Ink is overestimated, people who have Ink as their favorite make him some super-duper strong know-it-all, when in reality the dude is the shortest of all Sanses and can be punted like a football as well as being easily bodied by Killer alone, lmao

@@GrayPyromaniac I could say this of most Sanses, that their biggest fan make them stronger than they actually are. It is not exclusive to Ink. And, as far as I remember, when people say that Ink get "bodied" by Killer, they talk about a fight where Killer only had a single HP. So, Killer was fighting, sure, but I doubt Ink was really fighting him (given that he is always holding back and trying not to kill our creations, he litterally was in a situation where he couldn't allow himself to even hurt Killer without risking him to die)

@@GrayPyromaniac Also, the reason I say that Ink is likely more powerful than some people are willing to give him credit for are a few : One, he is supposed to watch over the scripts (so, while I agree, he is not a know-it-all, pretty sure one of the thing he remember best is the script of each world to make sre it is being followed to a T. Other than this and art though, I agree he likely doesn't know much) Two, he fights with god-like being (Error, Nightmare) on a frequent basis (and, yes, I agree, "Error and Ink never met in canon" but, everything about how Ink fight is fanon in the first place, as we have never seen him fighting in the work of Comyet... hence why his fans are going ham on what he may be capable of in the first place. Ink is as powerful as the imagination of the writer or the need of the plot ask of him) Three, I said that all the Star Sanses are underestimated. While I went on greater lenght with Ink, this applies to the other two... except, if they were bad fighters, they would have been dead a long time ago. They are fighting a group that has numerical advantage, with monsters with pretty high LV and skill to back it up, all while trying to protect and save civilians. They are the ones fighting with handicaps, but they are still not dead, which mean they can hold their ground quite well in the first place. If Killer was in reality enough to body Ink, I doubt Nightmare would have such a hard time killing Dream and getting rid of Positivity. Plus, if you wanna go by that arguement, I know there is also a comic of Killer defeating Blue, who survived because Papyrus and Chara got there in time. So, Nightmare must be quite incompetent, if Killer can take care of both of Dream's teammates by himself and still fail to capture him... which is out of character with Nightmare this time, don't you agree ?

@@orianefaton1885 lmao, theres a comic where killer bodies the whole star team, and i mean thats why canonically nightmare only has him in his team: he doesnt need more. nightmare literally is stronger than dream, thats canon, youre trying to compare a being that is literally made out of negativity with just 1 golden apple soul. nightmare just doesnt kill, canonically he doesnt, because he enjoys the suffering more, and he will just toy with the stars to give them hope and bring them down every time. he has killer to do his dirty work for him, to sit and just enjoy the negativity. nightmare isnt a doer, he is an instigator, thats his whole thing, thats how passive nightmare was cohersed into eating the apples in the first place. the star team is and always was a lot weaker than just nightmare and killer by themselves, people just trying to make up fanon versions cuz ink or dream are their favorite characters, while without outer help dream is useless cuz he can only make weapons out of positivity, ink, again, is literally a dwarf even by sans standart, and killer bodied swap in the past and literally broke his rib and stabbed swap in the eye with that said broken piece of rib. dreamtale has multiple canon endings, and neither dream killing nightmare nor nightmare killing dream are good, and besides, for dream to kill nightmare he would have to discover his true form actually, so again, yes, nightmare can literally kill dream, he just chooses to toy with him also error isnt even that strong, again, youre thinking of a fan version of him. canon error thinks he's stronger than he actually is, cuz he is egotistical and full of himself.

Ink can’t even move when he’s emotionless. He becomes what he truly is- a soulless husk. He can’t move, he can’t think. He just stares blankly, forever- until more “feelings” wash onto him from AUs.

@@user-nq9xk6lm2qThat’s exactly how it is, though. He’s also stated to be very weak compared to most Sanses- (he’s also shorter than Undertale/Classic Sans.) He doesn’t have blasters. He might be able to create attacks with his brush- but they’re significantly weaker.

Good choice. Spring storm is especially interesting with the part about "wishing to be loved is a sin" (or something like this) which is a very sad mentality to have but that Ink may have developped in at least some stories. (Hell, I am not even sure he dares to visit his fathers as much as he could because he is afraid to be a bother and maybe also because he has a lot of work) The part where it shows the creators too in this note, because yeah, since there are creators everywhere on earth, this mean Ink always have someone to help.

Though, I would suggest to add to the selection the musical video of "Chromatica", from xXtha (This one : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gdJmksl_19-aZ5c.html ). It is pretty good I think and represent Ink well. The fact he is energic, chaotic but with surprisingly calm moment by time (showed by how he stay still just vibing to the tune when there is no lyrics)
