Fun Fact: Dreamtale is not an undertale au. Dream and Nightmare are just balls of energy. Their mother, Nim, the tree tried to make them human but their bodies couldn’t handle the power so they exploded. When Nim saw, Swap sans, she used him as a blueprint to create their new bodies and she was successful. Sad fact: Dream’s real brother is dead. He died during the transformation, which happened when he and Dream were 6 years old. The current Nightmare is a being of Negativity that has the consciousness of the person who kinda killed Nim and has the past Nightmare’s memories.

Hey, just rewatching this video and I want to say thank you so much for not villainizing Nim. There’s not much to know about canon Nim except that she was murdered and had fused to the tree of feelings. Like she is no longer a person anymore. Her last actions was creating her replacements. She barely talks but when she does she gives wise advices to Dream and Nightmare.
