Sansa appeared to be a good administrator and someone without bloodlust, excepting RamseyJoffrey and Cersei, of course. She appeared thoughtful and had the humanity to forgive Theon for his betrayal and crimes. Jon too. She acquired political skills from master manipulators, retained her humanity despite what she had suffered and had a political project that she brought to completion. Dany could conquer Kings Landing but she could only govern through Drogon and her two preatorean armies. So, she had a weapon of mass destruction and terror, two battled hardened and skillful armies loyal to her only and a claim to sovereign power. Tyrion was right. She became the greatest threat to Westros for those reasons alone. Tyrion's solution after Dany's death made the monarch dependent on the aristocracy for his or her legitimacy. That was Westros' Mana Carta moment.

Daenerys had the army and the strongest weapon to defeat any army but Sansa had the loyalty of the one person that could get close enough to kill Dany. Snow did fall right in line to what Sansa, Arya, Tyrion and Bran all wanted. Bran manipulated the whole thing to become king. I'm curious to see a spin off Snow series and a possible return of the queen of Ashes.

Without a good strategy armies are held at bay or pushed back. Loyalty through fear is a weakness. Sansa has earned a loyalty few can ever attain. If Dani doesn't take her out in a no holds barred first strike, Sansa won't have to take her out, Jon would. Even though Sansa could do it herself.

I dont think you understood this show. The moment Dany stepped foot into Winterfell, she made her intentions clear- that she wanted to take over their home. Sansa does not want to give control of their home to someone else after everything they went through to get their home back. The only reason Dany was being nice to the north and trying to help them was to get something in return. For the north to accept her as their queen, get an alliance so she can get the iron throne. That is why Sansa did not like her or trust her and it made sense. Her kindness was conditional not geniune.

Truthfully, things would've been cool between Sansa and Dany if Dany just agreed to let the North be independent. Dany would still be queen. She would still get the iron throne and westeros which is everything shes ever wanted. Not sure why she still wanted the North, she didn't need it tbh. This way she would get an alliance from the north and the people would probably like her more.

All of Dany's followers in Essos truly loved her. The Dothraki, the Unsullied, all the slaves she freed all followed her because they believed in her. I think what really broke Dany was the fact that she expected it would be the same in Westeros but it wasn't. Westeros was completely different ballgame and she couldn't accept that. She saw herself as the rightful ruler of Westeros but when she got there, she couldn't reconcile with the fact that she didn't know anything about Westeros or how to rule there. She wasn't familiar with the power dynamics and politics of Westeros and so she couldn't understand why the strategies that made her so popular in Essos weren't working. She won Essos with inspiring speeches and powerful shows of force, but to succeed in Westeros requires more brain than brawn. Instead of realizing the differences and adapting to them, the way that Sansa did, she became resentful that they didn't love her and decided to rule with fear instead.

She how ever lacked confidence and was ruled by fear in her naivety until Little Finger mentored her. She learned many things under many different people. By the time she was reunited with Jon, Brandon, and Arya she had learned to respect the experiences and knowledge of her brothers and sister. Being united not only with her family, but the people of her region strengthen her with courage and purpose. She would never let herself, her family or her people suffer the tyranny she had. The show gave up on its self which is why it didn't show her transformation very well. Sansa had also grown up with a loving family and knew what it meant to be loved. Dany had always been on the run, used by everyone including her brother. She lived in fear of assassins from Westeros and then Essos after she began to conquer it. The only person who didn't use and abuse her was Khal Drogo. The only thing he taught her was how to take, as it is the Dothraki way. She used people just as she had been used, the few people she didn't use and trusted either abandoned her, betrayed her or were killed right in front of her. Combine that with the frowned upon customs of incest and her indoctrination that the iron thrown was right fully hers along with all of Westeros had forced Jon to choose between love, family and responsibility. He did not choose her and she broke with Cercei lighting the match.

Yeah it was tragic. But daeny had no idea how to have a sibling. To her, everyone was either loyal servants or enemies. She tried her best to be good, and failed miserably, which is no surprise considering how she was raised.

Sansa has always been self centered. But I wish Dany knew more of Westeros and the Starks plight, and allowed the North to be independent and let Sansa/the Stars rule it. Dany didn’t know or fully understand and took Sansa’s resistance As an insult or personal rejection. But we all know it’s more than that. But Sansa I will always have a love/hate relationship with.

She's offered his job in season seven and she turned it down. Bran comes back and she immediately tries to relinquish her position to let Bran lead, but, he turned it down. Sansa had ample opportunity to take the North and it would have been easy, but, she didn't. So, tell me....how does one want to be queen, yet, they are constantly trying to give the power they supposedly covet, to others?! Make it make sense.
