Today, we drive and tour the beautiful city of Santa Barbara, California. We start at the hills of the Riviera, down to the refreshing coastline, across the palm tree lined Hope ranch, then climbing the Santa Ynez Mountains for picturesque views, ending with a stroll in the cozy and quaint downtown area. Founded on a seismic zone, Santa Barbara had devastating earthquakes in 1812 and 1925. Following the latter, much of the downtown was rebuilt in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. The city was also recognized as the first “Hollywood of the North” for producing a large number of silent films during its time. Thank you for your comment. We enjoyed the Santa Barbara drive particularly up the mountain. I don’t know how they keep up with road maintenance given all of the rainfall ! As you can see they keep it clean and landscaped beautifully.

Thank you for watching. We use the GoPro 10, mounted outside. You can mount them inside or out depending on your preference.

@@wnj765 not on battery at all, plugged into car battery, cigarette lighter. That’s the best way in my opinion then you don’t worry about battery times and overheating.

I believe Oprah has a mansion in those hills. Drove by it one time. Can only see the bushes and the gate though. Michael Jackson had a place there also I believe.

The mountain was, especially after that heavy rainfall! I guess a Tesla had fallen down a hill the week prior! The driver was safe. Thanks again for watching.
