A Tardis can take the form of any object, the Doctors is just frozen in that telephone booth form because the system is broken and he never bothered to repair it, so Santas sleigh might very well be a Tardis, which would make sense, as a Tardis can be pretty much infinite in size, so he could transport entier facories and a whole elf civilisation to produce those presents inside. The more i think about it, the more it makes sense that Santa is in fact a time lord!@@hkayakh

For every audience insulting moment of emotional manipulation, I'd say Nick Frost as Santa Claus made every moment he was on screen worth watching. I seriously hope we see him in the role again on Doctor Who.

Yeah, it leaves it open for Santa to be real, which is always fun. Of course, the tangerine might just have been left there the night before by Clara... But I like to think Santa Claus is a Time Lord. I wonder though, what's his actual name. Santa Claus, or Father Christmas, or Chris Cringle... Note of them fit Time Lord naming convention

@@nymphrodellsalavin his actual name is probably the same with the doctor: can't be understood except by children if their hearts are in the right place. Probably took up the name nick as some boring Russian man as a cover up and soon became Saint nick which then evolved into Santa.

I was born during tom bakers run and had to do without any doctor who for several years be tween 7&8 then 8 till 9 on TV (apart from comedy sketches on charity shows )and the odd big finish audio stories,so any thing about doctor who is brilliant . I love the Christmas specials no matter how bad they are because it's better than no doctor who at all.

I liked Nick Frost as Santa Claus but this Christmas Special was a weaker one to me. I think Husbands of River Song is much better.

This is just a suggestion that's not related to this video. It would be really cool is they brought Omega back. If you're an extreme doctor who nerd or fan you will know who that is. Hopefully this happens because he is one of my favorite doctor who villians (Cybermen are #1 in my opinon while Omega is tied with them at #1) and he should get a chance to return. Again, hopefully this happens and if it does I will be extremely grateful.
