If you love the piano, you will love this, search this video title on you tube: "Crazy Piano Skills at Fisherman's Wharf.m4v". His name is Kevin Kooyumjian. The song he covers in the video is: "Back in the Day", by Brian Culbertson. Also, check out his video where he covers the 1968 hit song "Stormy" by "The Classics IV". There are so many versions of this song and all of them touch an internal string in me, I really like and love this guy, he reminds me my father, he loved his music, and I love this and much of Santan music since I was a kid, more than 40 years appreciating this genius! Thanks a lot for your music!

This might well be one of the best performances of Samba Pa Ti, Carlos was at his most creative in the period 1974 to 1978, with albums like Lotus, Caravanserai, Borboletta, Love Devotion and Surrender etc.. Moonflower came at the end of this period and was already quite polished. I was lucky to catch the group live for the first time in 1976 and Carlos's unique sustain carried on through vinyl, compact cassette, cd and now streaming. Gratitude !!

I think it's his best performance not only because of the way he was playing, but also because of the organ and all the other musicians

I would agree with you on many levels. Having grown up in Oakland, I attended many Santana Concerts as it is his home base. Was anyway, so I could sense his life force when I saw him at Winterland, SF, CA. and remember how he dressed all in white came to the front of the stage and asked the audience for a moment of silence? He got it, you could hear a pin drop! From a bunch of teens like me? That's respect and he has a wonderful hand, ear, style. Everything. Top three of my fave s One being this masterful Genius!

Totally agree with all the praise and adulation, this is a true masterpiece and, as a guitarist, this is a tune from which I still derive real pleasure by playing most days along with Europa, I Love You Much Too Much and Moonflower. I saw Santana live a few years ago at the O2 in London and to my very great disappointment he did not play any of these beautiful tunes from which, from my guitarists point of view, was his most outstanding and brilliantly creative period.

This was the first piece of music that I learned playing by ear. I am so grateful to Santana for giving me challenges and keep going with my guitar.❤ this is what I call “making love with your guitar” they are very few that can do that. I can think of one right now but I think everybody would agree. Unfortunately he had an early death and that it was/is Jimi Hendrix.

I got a chance to witness a truely special Journey man Rock star July 2nd 1977 I saw Carlos Santana, and Lynard Skinner on the same Bill . I was twenty and quite ignorant to Rock and Roll but that day opened a new world of great music to an illiterate R and B drummer forever. Thank my Best Friends Al and Anthony Williams for inviting me to a day on the green at the Oakland Coliseum July 2nd 1977. I am forever in your debt Stephen Michael Jones .

Oh, I was 16 years old, constantly in love (at least heavily aroused) and met my boyfriend, who I still love today. Thanks for uploading. 🤩

Emotion expressed or maybe a story ... a walk in the sunshine maybe on a board walk . Or walking hand in hand away from the crowds at the end of the day down nice beach sun setting after an active day chatting about all the fun . Sounds amazing .
