Fantastic choice of Santana songs I think this is one of his best albums you have to listen to the whole side one it is phenomenal we used to watch our posters “float all over the room to this album😳✌️

This is and always has been my favorite Santana song. One night I was traveling on back highways through Utah at midnight, I was the only soul on the road.. I stopped my car on the highway laid on my hood and listened to this masterpiece looking up at the stars.. Hearing this always takes me back to that magical night.

This music makes me feel the heaven

I heard this at my buddies house the day it came out. We played the album several times that day under varying degrees of pot influence, and every time it got better. A musical journey that still delights today. Great choice.

This and transcendence are two of my favorites

"Batuka" and "No One to Depend On", the first two numbers off Santana's third studio album are outstanding as well.

All the Love in the Universe from this album is another masterpiece.

Carlos Santana has played a huge part in my musical life since I was privileged to see him live when I was 17 years old, i am now 66 young. I have seen him 40 times since then. I'm so pleased you both are giving him the recognition he deserves. He was the first to in my opinion to place 'World Music' on the map and long may he continue to play a big part in everyone's life for ever. I would like 'LOVE IS YOU' played at my funeral, peace

Awesome tune from one of the best albums of the 70s (Caravanserai). They recorded the guitar first in Song of The Wind and because of the way the recording worked, the drummer Michael Shrieve had to record the drum in one take otherwise they would've lost the guitar recording and we would never have heared this guitar melody as it is today. Neal Schon who would form Journey later on is playing in this tune with Carlos Santana. They were connected very closely on that one and played complementary solos. You should check out Santana's "Yours Is The Light", a bossa nova flavored tune with jazz singer Flora Purim. Also, Check out Masayoshi Takanaka's "The Rainbow Goblins" album. Especially the song "The Moon Rose" even though the album itself is a masterpiece.

From listening a few times this is what i get from who is doing the guitar solos..>>>Carlos comes in at 53 seconds till 2:/10/11 ...... Neal comes in at 2:11 until 3:43..., Carlos back in at 3:44 until 4:43..... Neal back in at 4:44 until 5:07.... Then Carlos back in at 5:08 to close it out!

This music would lifted me when I was low, just music. Try some Santana Brothers "Blues Latino" and try the 10min version by Javier Vargas' - "Blues Latino".

I'm sorry but there was no other guitarist his brother did not join him till later it was all Carlos. He has never been hell selfish man allowing his people his group to join him and make music together

Nah don’t agree with you guys, Santana’s unique blend of Latin American rhythm and bluesy guitar are outstanding for me on this track, you can lay back and let it flow over you, get on your air guitar or salsa dance around the room, all the while soaking up the sweet melody, I would not have it any other way. Perhaps better appreciated via loudspeakers rather than headphones? Samba Pa Ti has some of the same vibe but this track adds so much more.
