Capelli Sport is excited to announce its first athlete to complete the entire Capelli Sport Plus+ Player Pathway-Pro, Santiago “Santi” Castaneda, of Florida Premier FC.
Santi was first discovered by Capelli Sport Plus+ Technical Staff at the Capelli Sport Plus+ Southeast-North Talent ID in Tampa, Florida.
➡️ In 2022, Santi was selected as one of 17 players invited to play on the Capelli Sport USA U19 All-Star Team for the third annual Capelli Sport Cup Denmark.
➡️ Following an unforgettable European experience, Castaneda was keen to take it a step further. With interest from Capelli Sport owned club, MSV Duisburg, Santi was invited and took part in the Capelli Sport Plus+ Player Pathway-Pro Trial.
➡️ With a green light from executive management, Santiago has signed his first professional contract with German Liga.3 club, MSV Duisburg to start his career. Capelli Sport welcome’s Santiago Castaneda to the ever-growing Capelli Sport Family and best wishes for his inaugural season as a professional footballer.
