This magnificent Greek island inspires every visitor because of its spectacular landscapes with blue domed chapels and whitewashed houses perched on black volcanic cliffs, all set against the backdrop of the beautiful shimmering Aegean waters. I would love to visit Greece one day. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world with rich history, inspiration, and art. The Greeks invented many wonderful things that still serves as a standard example to many around the world: mathematics, science, philosophy, art, architecture, etc… I love their foods as well! 🥰

Yearning to go to Greece. I personally have never been there and once I get to go there sometime in my life, I will be so awed by the beautiful sights that I’m sure I will have tears of joy springing from my face. It would be heavenly to go to such a paradise.

The reason why I love this island is because of it's funky style! Crazy whitewashed houses facing in different directions clustered on one short mountain top is AMAZING!

My husband and I went for our anniversary in June. Santorini was breathtaking. I still daydream about this place. I look at my videos and pics and cannot believe I've been there. My wish is that everyone gets to experience this beautiful island. Stunning views of the sunset and the people were super friendly.

@@aksk009 it wasn't too expensive. We opted to stay at an airline which saved us a lot of money. We stayed in Thera and were near the buses that go to Oia. We were close to restaurants and wonderful views. We also booked a wine excursion with airbnb and was worth every penny. It wasn't expensive. You just have to do some research and see what your budget allows you to do. Hotels are more expensive which is why we preferred airbnb. We stayed in Santorini in Thera for 3 days.

For 2k you can have an awesome med cruise and include santorini. Just do it. Yes work hard and be responsible but set up a fund if only oputting one dollar in it and you will be in santorini in a year or next year.

We can't compare santorini to Paris because they both are amazing in their own way. I have visited the both. Santironi is the 1000th part of Paris. Its like a village and Paris is so huge. I would say it's a good place to relax but to have fun and see a particular parisien life u won't fine here. Paris is truly amazing

Santorini is indeed absolutely gorgeous. But Greece is gorgeous around every corner of the country wherever you go due to it's 80% mountains and layers of mountains, seas, islands, lakes, forests, and so on. And as beautiful this video is of just a little aspect and insight of Santorini, it still doesn't do the reality justice.

I usually stay 3 weeks on Santorini every september and estimate around 3500 Euro for one person for planeticket, hotel, rental car and food

when i was 17 i saw this place in the movie summer lovers. i knew i had to go there, and eventually i did. even though i was born on the island of sri lanka, i have to say this is the most beautiful island in the world. i have spent months there now, and it has become an important part of my life. go, if you want to see what a paradise is truly like. )

Ho stati dai Santorini per due settimane nei Grecia mare. Meravigliosa e stupenda con splendida scenario e eccellente di spiaggi. Grazioso cibo inclusi frutti di mare, feta formaggi, nera/verde d'olivi anche di agnello, pizza, fegatini e Mousakka. Sempre solare. Bellissima d'acqua nella mare e noi nuotava piu pescava.

When I took a ferry from Athens to Rhodes for Team Canada's Host Town Visit at the 2011 Special Olympics World Games, we had a stopover at Santorini. At night, Santorini is a beautiful historic town. Its said that Santorini is where the legendary city of Atlantis is located. Southern Greece also reminds me so much of Labrador, a remote region in Northeastern North America known for its plateaus and its high barren coastlines. Only difference is that Southern Greece doesn't get 5 metres of snow during the Winter.

@@markdunphy4561 dont go in summer..go in October MUCH BETTER.. and the weather is not that much different..nothing ruins a trip more than loud horrible European tourist EVERYWHERE..if you take the plunge and spend all that money ,,go in off peak months(oct..nov)) you'll be SO glad you did!!!
