I live in Greece and have visited Santorini twice. Your work althought you never saw this place is wonderful like you went there and got the feeling of this place. The flowers near this scene reminded me easter time there. Good work you are awsome!

I live in Greece, and i have to say you have to visit Santorini. You will be loved the colours of the houses, of the temples in combination with the sky and the sea, and i'm sure you will take a lot of photos in order to paint them. I suggest you to visit the island on May-June or on September because the sky is more colourful and beautiful than the summer's month. By the way, excellent work!!

Thank you for the idea. I've been in santorini, even mostly flowers in the island is bougainvillea and has no leafs, I missed the coral and the seagulls....but yours is so pretty...love it. amazing work

Thank you for honoring the beauties of my homeland, it is amazing but I will also tell you that the houses of the Aegean Sea in Greece (not only Santorini) are all white and only on one side they cast a shadow, depending on where the sun is.

Felix, when I watch sometimes I think, "what is he doing?" Then as it starts to come together, it surprises me every time. Your skies are so natural & beautiful. :) And this painting was so different. I love Mediterranean scenes.

Try some watersprayer ... these ones which sprays very fine mist. Ihope that helps, and sorry for my English.

R Sheikh Art, if you enjoy painting slowly, you could give oils a try. I use both and enjoy painting slowly, so, I always use a slow dry medium when I am painting with acrylics. Oils dry super slow so they blend easy, but take a while to dry between layers. You can also paint your background in acrylic and then paint on top with oils. Experiment and see what works best for you. Best wishes and much success.

Excellent tutorials man! I’m a beginner and trying this painting out but Im having difficulty with using my brushes as their bristles are synthetic and long. I’ve noticed your brushes have very short bristles. Would you recommend me to use shorter ones too as they seem to have more control or it doesn’t matter?
