Just found your video. I have been collecting watches for over 30 years. Here are some basics: 1. Square wears bigger than round by 1-2mm all else being equal. The bezel, case and face all play a role in this also. I own a 44mm Breitling there wears like a 41mm at best. 2. I own the Medium White dial Santos De Cartier and I’m about 5’8” and about 25 lbs heavier than you(I’m almost 60 now) and I bought that because it works better in suit and tie, which I wear daily. My wrist size is 7” and is more round than flat (you should know your wrist size and the shape). Small is better for a dress watch. I love the one you own, but to me it’s more of a sport or casual watch even though it can pull it off these days when you are dressed more formally. Gold is usually best for a black tie event like a PP Calatrava and a leather strap is more formal. Also a strap makes the Watch look smaller than a bracelet because the bracelet extends the lug length, which also has to be considered when discussing size and wearability. 3. I agree with your views on “busting down” the watch with after market diamonds. It ruins the watch. No serious watch person would buy it, not because of the bling but because it’s aftermarket. Remember A$AP Ferg “Plain Jane”. Buying through an AD gives you a great warranty and you never know when you need it. Good luck with your channel.

Spot on! Tried on the medium and large multiple times and also felt the medium was much too "dainty". Went with the large white which has a great presence.

I have a 7.25 inch wrist and choose the large. I tried on the medium a couple of times and I agree that it just looks too small.

I just got this watch today from my AD price was same for me unless I send to a friend out of state which is a hassle but might be worth several hundred. I love the blue dial and grows on you as you wear it. I had the santos 100 xl which I loved too, but I wanted the bracelet option and the thinner case. I love the date complication as well. The blue leather strap is good looking and easy interchangeable system is very welcoming.

I tried on the Medium and I loved it, I have average to small wrist. The Large looked good too, but I think the Medium better on my wrist. The Small was way too small though.

I have this one with the white dial. It's thin and slightly curved to fit the wrist. The large is a great size. It doesn't really feel larger than my Rolex GMT. I also bought the black rubber strap and it's fantastic.

My 7.25" wrist, with the steel band, the med looks descreat and classy. Goes well with suits, formal and dress. Large looks more obviouse, sporty, better with casual, recreational. Stick either on leather and go for a dark face to make them look smaller.

100% agree the medium cartier is too small. I wear 36mm DJ, 34mm Grand seiko (they're fine). but the Medium santos is too small in real life. They just look good on instagram shot. but not in real life.. But in saying that i think the Large is slightly too big, but it's not oversized

I wear 42-43 sports and 38-39 dress watch. I think larger would be more versatile for you. It might look better as a medium for pure dress watch use.

6.5” wrist. Went with the white medium. Goes better with the suits I wear daily.

Cartier wants all the sizes to continue to be appealing for men or at least try to. That’s why they don’t have a small variance of this watch. Although the medium is small, they don’t call it small for that reason. They don’t want to turn off guys from buying it because they say it’s a small one. I don’t know if that works, but that’s what I think.

I think this blue dial in Large looks a lot better than the white dial...

The blue face makes it look not as large bc you focus on the dial vs in the white it looks bigger bc you focus on the bezel at the same time.

The size works. Compare it to an Apple Watch. 40, 42,44 is an Apple watch.

If what u have in the pants is too smal then certainly you'd like a bigger watch. And a bigger/faster car and so on. That's the only reason anyone would choose a big watch over a medium one. A medium sized watch is classy, more comfortable and practical. And it stands out being surrounded by your wrist. A big watch is just big.
