Legislation and its implementation do nothing to resolve the issue. Only free market does. The China does not allow free enterprises to flourish and create more demand for the labor. The first thing China needs to do is to open the market for all businesses not just the government favored ones, especially the foreign entities to enter the Chinese market without restriction, which will immediately and qualitatively change the demand for labor market. The foreign, especially American, companies which operate at higher end market, will need high end more intellectually demanding labor rather than the current low end ones that most of the current Chinese companies demand. The more intense competition amongst the employers will certainly raise the price for labor and improve the working conditions.
@@user-bk4gj3mv4v My main point is that 996 can only be solved by more competition in the market, on the employer side. Do not deviate. "依你这个想法中国民营企业不可能有发展机会了" This is a side question. But I will answer you. Not necessarily at all. Besides, if certain 中国民营企业 can not compete, it is best for they to fail. Why should the Chinese consumers tolerate low quality products and pay higher prices for them? The entrepreneurs not competing in the mature sectors will seek new opportunities in novel areas. By "低端打工", I suppose you are referring to physical labor. I am not. I am talking about the people working in the office 996. Aside from investment bank and certain coding work, these are low end work. No intellectually demanding and productive work could be produced working regularly 996.
