I hope the author has also explained in the book that congress was formed by the Britishers as a pressure release valve so the incidents like mutiny of 1857 doesn't repeat itself. First four(iirc) presidents of congress were Britishers as well.

INC was indeed a safety Valve, and it worked 100% well. There was no mutiny like 1857 again. And Indians fought for the British in 2 world wars.

After watching this podcast people should read Savarkar books by Vikram Sampath. That gives the whole timeline of the seeds of partition and Gandhi’s role in it. He was no mahatma. He is completely responsible for ruining the country and its politics.

Even that there is common thought that Gandhi was eliminated as the "old man of no use anymore " after the independance. though Gandhi and Nehru made public believe its was independence when india was still under Britain, only a dominian state .How is that all prominent congress leaders passed away ??? I'm from Andhra Pradesh. P Chidambaram and Jairam Ramesh gave us a raw deal. The Congress broke us up in the most haphazard way possible. No wonder they did all this all those decades back. For them, it is always political expediency and not anything else like justice for the people and foresight in the interest of the nation. What they do is only in their own interest and not for any higher purpose or ideal. The Congress is devious and dubious. That's probably why stalwarts like Ambedkar and Subhash Bose left it.

@@reecosmicatomsb8576 YSR died in 2009. AP was bifurcated in 2014. YSR, during his re-election campaign in 2009 had said, "are we going to need a Visa to go to Hyderabad now". He said this in the second phase of the election campaign when voting was yet to take place in the Andhra part of AP. YSR was against the bifurcation, and had he been alive, there might not have been a Telangana. Sonia wouldn't go to the granular level and weigh the electoral and political pros and cons of the bifurcation. The Tamil Congressman cut us down and brought our number of Loksabha seats to below that of Tamilnadu, possibly to make us cease to be the biggest state in the South. The Kannadiga 'intellectual' Jairam Ramesh did a really bad job of drafting the reorganization bill and gave us a raw deal. I'm not sure whether that's malice or just incompetence. Or negligence? Or contempt for us? I can't say. I heard Pavneet Singh talk about the calculations and miscalculations made by the Indira Congress in the case of creating the state of Punjab in light of trying to kill the politics of Akali Dal, which backfired in a similar fashion to Telangana in terms of immediate electoral outcomes - when he was explaining the Farmer Agitation 2.0 and the demand for MSP. And Khalistan, etc etc, beginning with the 1920s. I guess this is what the Congress does. I'm a Hindu Cultural Nationalist and a supporter of Modi. But I'd refrain from calling Sonia Gandhi as Sonia Maino and give credence to some Christian conspiracy, unless there's some evidence to it. I can see clearly that the present Chief Minister, the son of YSR, isnt being overtly pro-Christian and pro-Conversion at all. He is doing a pretty good job of keeping the Hindu element happy. I'd like to see evidence to the contrary, not just allegations or general distrust and dislike for Christian Converts.

About Indira Gandhi she was very poor in studies and her attractions toward boyes and behaviour with them felt objectionale to even Rabidranath Tagore and on e day he called Neharu and told him to take his daughter.Indira Gandhi was also removed from pune school for same reason. She also was having strong hatraed toward hindu religion she was also jealous of Royal Families Especially Maharani Gayatri Devi her beauty as richness which she use to feel should heve got herthe way she tourcher Gayatri Devi un believable.

मॅडम ने सुटकेस मे पैसा भरके इंदिरा गांधी के निवास पे जाता था ये जो किस्सा सुनाया उसके सपोर्ट मे मुझे एक काँग्रेस के ही महाराष्ट्र के लिडर का वक्तव्य याद आया. उनका सरनेम खेर था. उन्होने अपने जीवनी पर लिखे हूए पुस्तक मे कहा है " नेहरू के टाईम पे पैसे से भरे हुए सुटकेस खाली करके वापस भेजे जाते थे. इंदिरा के टाईम पे तो पैसे के साथ सुटकेस भी रखे जाते है. 😂

Her theories many are bullshit & against truth. From JB Kripalini's book it is vary much cleared that Gandhi selected Neheru as President of Congress hence be PM against the voting of provinces. Sardar patel got 12 votes & Neheru have no nomination. On partition plan was initially shut down in Congress working committee later On Gandhi's intervention it was passed. I agree if there is no congress Neheru or Gandhi a partition be a option less land will transferred to Pakistan & 100% population exchange occurred. But writer's view to Safeguard Gandhi is historically incorrect from many prominent Ghandhian leader writers.
