I just bought a new 50 and it has 3 diffrent modes, S, B, & L. I questioned the dealer and they told me S for standard, B for breaker, and they knew nothing about L mode. They also couldn't tell me how to pair my phone to the radio. Great video. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the review Josh. I take delivery in two weeks and just ordered a mulcher for it. I chose this unit for the weight and aux hydros at 21gpm over the 35. Both great machines. Keep posting as you can, lots of viewers looking for reviews of this unit.

Thanks Brian yeah not to many reviews on the 50s that's why I wanted to post a little review, hopefully help answer some questions guys may have been searching for. Congrats on your Purchase Brain, Please let me know how that mulcher works out for you and brand. Like you said the weight and the hydro flow is what led me to lean towards the 50 over the 35 in my decision.

@@sugartotouch BTW, did your dealer install a Sany or Kubota coupler on your unit? And now that you've had it for a bit, any issues, pros, cons? Thanks Josh!
@sugartotouch
@sugartotouch 2 жыл бұрын
@@brianc1240 Yes its the Kubota KX057 quick coupler. no complaints with the quick coupler works as one would hope. I haven't had any issues as of yet. The Led lights on the machine work great! I have been burning some brush piles and the lights at night really help out. Like I said in the video its plenty strong enough, for the stumps and logs I have been moving around not a problem. I only have 3 cons as of right now, hydraulics are little noisy if you're running under 50 % flow. Oil filters been a pain to get. there all backed ordered at least where I am at. I was able to cross reference to a Baldwin so shouldn't be a issue again. This is probably my top con they got the rabbit track speed button on the display so every time you want to track faster you gotta lean forward and hit that button on the display. it would be a lot better if they installed that on the blade lever control. all in all still happy.

@@sugartotouch Thanks for the information Josh. I confirmed with dealership they will install a Kubota manual coupler. I didn't want to pay the extra cost for a quick coupler, instead invest in a Rut Mulcher. Glad you're having good success so far and no issues. I'll start the hunt for maintenance items now since everything seems to be hard to locate. I'll touch back once I've have some time with it. Take care!

The radio in my 35 is crap too. Never worked right. I have to push mode 100 times or shut the machine on and off until it works. Talked to the service guy, he said the "radio is Chinese junk you should replace it with a Kenwood". My thought was why don't you it's supposed to work for 5000 hrs guaranteed. For anyone debating on whether to buy the 35 or the 50. I can speak for the 50 but, the 35 is super slow operating. If your used to a fast machine you will be disappointed with the 35.
@sugartotouch
@sugartotouch 2 жыл бұрын
Yea I hear you on the radio it is annoying. I took mine in a month ago and they looked at it and told me there going to order a new one but don't know when it will come in. We will just have to see how the second one goes. honestly that was the major deciding factor for me, the 35 just seemed sluggish to me unless you had her close to max on the Hydraulics. I didn't really like the fact that I was going to have to run her maxed all the time to be at the speed I was wanting to be at most of the time. I tested the 50s right after hydraulic at about 35 percent picked the boom moved the stick a couple times yep sold. The extra breakout and weight was just a bonus.

Fuel filter Yanmar 129A00-55800-HD. fuel water sep filter is Sany 60307173. if you type in Sany filters into amazon there's a guy selling all the filters you could need for a complete service for around 500 bucks not bad way to go if you don't want to source them all out.

Glad the video heled you! Yes still happy with my choice. My buddy got the 50 as I did about a month apart from me and he has got no complaints so far ether. best warranty 5 year 5k should be able to transfer that over. KZfaqr workplaytv that I follow has a sy95, he is a self employed contractor speaks his mind on his reviews on his equipment, he seems to be very pleased with his Sany. They seem built strong, not always having the extra goodies that the name brand machines. That's my take so far.

When I could not find out for myself or the dealer could not tell me I called Sany America headquarters in Georgia They informed me that it does nothing on the SY50 series. They utilize the same key ignition in other models. Same as the display unit they use in the 35,50,60,95. Same display unit but they all are configured different

Hi Josh how is the kitsap tractor service? do they fully honor the 5 year warrant? I bought SY60C and having some problems. Do they come and fix it?
@sugartotouch
@sugartotouch 2 жыл бұрын
They have been good for the couple items I have had to bring in and fix. I would definitely say they would honor the agreement. depending on the issue if the machine was not able to fix they would have a tech come out. but for minor repair they would want you to bring it in. I did have to bring mine in, they don't have a service right now to bring your machine to the shop. but the depending on your location I know the Marysville will come and pick up your machine. I think if you didn't have a way to get your machine to the shop they would figure something out for you. The guys that do the service work for them seem to know what there doing. I am sorry that you are having some issues! hope you can get them resolved quickly.

Hi Josh, Your review was positive in helping me decide on the 50 over the 35. I just bought one! Delivery next week, hopefully! Is your seat link the actual seat you bought or did you talk with the dealer to chose the right fit/model? If so can you say what model/brand you bought? Also, what oil filter crosses over for the Sany 50? Have they fixed your door and radio yet? Thanks for your review. Are you going to do an update now that you have more hours etc. on it?
@sugartotouch

Hi Carter, Congrats on your purchase! Yes the link is the exact seat that I got. You can purchase right from that website. If you want you can save some money and buy the suspension base off that website and install it to your current seat on your machine help save some bucks. I have not had time to see about the door and radio at this point my dealer is almost two hours away. hopefully soon I will be able to get it figured out. Yes hopefully here soon I will make another video. I will attach the oil filter info here later this afternoon when I get home.

@@sugartotouch Thanks Josh for the seat details. Isn't your covered by 5yr./5000hour warranty. According to my dealer within 3 hour drive from their shop they will send a tech out to fix broken items during that 5/5 timeframe...Just saying, especially on the door issue. Suspect radio might be wiring or just a bad unit from factory? Oil filter # pls.?

@@carterjames5385 Yes it is 5 for 5. Your right, I didn't think about seeing if they would come out maybe I will have to ask them, thanks for the good idea. oil filters Sany 60273112, Yanmar 119005-35170, 129150-35170, WIX 51568, BALDWIN B1431. The wix and baldwin in not 100 percent if they fit they cross refenced off the yanmar filters. I did pick up a CARQUEST filter off the wix number and it seems to be like kind of the Yanmar filter I ordered. hopefully this is helpful.

@@sugartotouch Thanks for the filter numbers. If it were me I'd go with the OEM, either Yanmar or Sany until the warranty is up. Why? Because for the expense of the machine it's a peace of mind thing. I owned and ran a foreign auto repair and sales store for ten years and we used Bosch or Mann filters on all the customer cars. Another Sany, (35U) at it's 100 hour review had some issues with his door too. He was missing his lower zerk on the door bottom hinge and it seemed the door was rattling possibly due to shrinkage or after break-in fitment of the door gasket. I would think there is some way to tighten up your door latch, and same for the other guy's machine. Otherwise he had no complaints; FWIW. If it's a common issue your Sany dealer might be able to suggest the fix which you could do in field? Cheers! ;)

Are your hydraulics loud I've got 600 hours on mine and as soon as you start moving the boom it whines
@sugartotouch
@sugartotouch Жыл бұрын
I noticed this when I first got my machine too, for me I only notice it when the hydros are less then 50 percent. Seems to quite down the whining once you turn it up to 65 percent and up. My friend noticed this to when he got his 50 too. I have had the hydraulic oil sent out and tested everything came back good, I think it just might be a little louder pump at this point. I Have 315 hrs. on mine it has not gotten any louder since I bought it. If it gets any louder then what it has been I would consider taking it in to get checked out.
