This game, as far as running rugby goes, was by far the better game. Blues /Canes game was tense, but the majority of the tries were through boring forward play.

@@DrissZyani-bu5mo Did we? The Warratahs didn't do any better when they got rid of him and they were a shambles the year before. Was it 4 championships in a row with Canterbury? Coach of the year in the Pro14 and bringing the Shining Arcs up to constant play off competitors. If anything the Warratahs year is the anomaly for him. We've seen damn good NZ coaches go overseas and get nowhere and then leave and have success again. Hard to put that all on the coaches shoulders. They lost a lot of senior players and leadership in the Crusaders, more than any other team, he has a free year to build and we can judge his success on next year.
