HANA is a database and ABAP is the programming language for SAP RICEF objects development irrespective of databases, i hope the difference between SAP HANA & SAP ABAP is answered.

It is not big 4 or any company which defines your work load. It is the project or ( very much Manager ) who defines it. And don't think that huge pay means heavy work, there are several other factors. After 10 years, your career is like a sailing ship, minimal things won't matter at all. Watching this don't jump into ABAP (it is not every programmer's cup of tea), thinking it is like java or python, this is pure business oriented with very limited capabilities.

You can join any SAP training institute which maybe cost you around 1.5L or 3L which includes server, certification, internship,placement or you can learn from yourself by KZfaq resources but you have to buy SAP server and for certification it cost u around 20k in India .
