A little FYI. The company who manufactures the body camera has it set up so that the volume can not be lowered and the officer can not control the power of the unit. I just found this on google its from November 2021: SAN ANTONIO - A San Antonio police officer with a documented history of road rage has resigned months after being charged in a drunk driving hit-and-run case, department officials confirmed Friday. Officer Dezi Rios, 39, resigned Nov. 1. He had been on suspension without pay following the crash. Rios was arrested for DWI in July, after crashing into another driver’s vehicle that was stopped at a red light at the intersection of O’Connor and Stahl Roads and then fleeing the scene.

Well you gotta understand where his fellow officer was coming from. He believed the story of the young man drawing his gun and pointing it at Rio. I'd be inclined to use deadly force against that too. If someone points a muzzle of a firearm at you then they've already escalated it to that point. The road rage cop is the guy who is looking for trouble. One of these days he's gonna find someone a lot harder than he is.

It's a sad thing to say in Amerika, but when the cops can't be trusted and act like wild animals, then it is time for the citizens to take their streets back, both for self-defense and the public safety. When the system fails to remove threats to public safety IMMEDIATELY then the populace must take the responsibility and do it themselves. Both in common law and in most state statutes, private citizens are authorized to use force, including deadly force, to protect the lives of others who are in imminent danger of loss of life or limb. Cops that brutalize citizens by overreacting or just sheer malice, should be stopped by whatever means by any citizen capable of doing so.
