Not a network's job to produce diversity. Networks are corporations. A Corporations's duty is to make profit for shareholders. They (the Networks) find talent that fits into a past proven formula. This comedian was ok...not great not bad....however you do have a point. She does fit a "type" that many could identify with, however I think she's aging a bit so that's not going to be in her favor, however attractive enough, with a pleasing figure doesn't hurt...If I were an exec...I would probably pass - not enough pluses...but all of this are just opinions, who would have though Roseaane would have made it? just know there are 3.5 billion females on the planet...ah but I digress...corporations are only about profiit for the shareholders - If she was a likely profitable prospect she would have a show...she's just a but short on the "it" factor jmo

I grew up South of Houston and there were only 2 Cubans that had no type of accent. We didn't know any of these exotic Hispanics here. Just Mexicans and Salvadoreans.

Unfortunately that was all by design where the people who spoke Spanish were placed in Amerikkka I grew up in New York and I can remember there was no Mexicans I ended up having a child by a Mexican Wombman in California when I was in New York there were no Mexicans if they were they were very few and they were hidden ,, I live in Hawaii now an there's spanish-speaking people from all over they've been here ,, it's quite amazing a lot of the Spanish speaking people came here early and they were the ones who helped to train the Hawaiians how to ride horses they were the Hawaiian Cowboys or PANIOLOS ,,,,, The spanish-speaking people taught to Hawaiians how to ride horses and herd cattle ,, very interesting how this island became the way it is today unfortunately in 2021 they still plantations on this island a lot of people working for wages that would not be considered a living wage ,, cold Hard FACTS 🌈🦎🦁🐢☯️💚💛❤️🕉️🌈 Paradise has its problems .......

Puerto Rican fly planes to travel so most commonly they end up in NYC. Mexicans usually walk across the border thats why they usually end up in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. And boricua is more of term that comes from spanish from Caribbean islands .that's probably why you dont really know of term in SW states

That's the problem with my Puerto Rican people... they got all this pride and don't know their history... not calling you out but study up. You'll love being Puerto Rican even more. Puerto Ricans also have mix blood with the Cari. They were cannibals that used to hunt Taino people... when the Spanish came and treated every one bad. The Cari and Taino settled their differences, teamed up and fought against the Spanish. Of course, they lost miserably but gained an ally. So, remember this from here on... we love like Taino and hate like the Cari... since we mixed with them... the saying is this. We love with fury and we hate with fury. That's the motto. And one last bit... the Caribbean is named after the Cari tribe. Just thought you should know.

@@sunitafisher4758 it's some thing you learn as a Puerto Rican whrn you realize the thick history the Taino have had. The new generation has pride for being Puerto Ricans but they don't know why. I learned in my 30s what it is to be Borinquen and I found a new love for the island and its people... and what's funny is that I found out that my grandmother on my mom's side was one of the few remaining Taino people left on the planet. Pure blood Taino. That makes me 1/4 Taino, though I look white as white can be due to my dad. It's a long explanation.
