Frank Barragan Because your brain isn't 100% focused so even when there are jimpscares you do not see them. This same effect can be achieved during horror movie but instead of missing the dam movie cover you ears. People have a cliche of loud sounds now or noises on a frequency to induce fear so covering you eyes and still watching normally severely diminish the blow of the jumpscare.

You guys didn't mention that the developers of the game were a bunch of indie developers from Malaysia and that the coordinates the game mentioned points you to a spot in Malaysia famous (or infamous) for its hauntings and spooky stuff.

+Will Bell I can't unflag your comment for some reason but my answer to your statement ("Who cares they are promoting the game") is this; Maybe YOU don't care but for some people that actually searched the coordinates given might be pointed to the place where they know nothing about. My comment is clarification to those people who thought it was just a random abandoned building that looks creepy. Now they know the place and the reason why such coordinates are given.

I know this is like a month old but I looked at the coordinates, it seems it's located at Kampung Janda Baik (which roughly translate to "Good Widow Village"). But you know, it's just a game, there's probably nothing there...

Did anybody ever play "Missing Since January" It was an augmented reality game that had you look all over actual websites outside of the game to find clues to solve a fictional missing persons case in game. This was before internet walkthroughs were so prevalent.
