@@DieBiene Hei, pitäis muistaa että Sara on ihan hyvä eikä tää laulu oo ärsyttävä. Tää laulu on itse asiassa aika wholesome voimabiisi. Oon kuitenki ihan samaa mieltä että se on suomenkielinen eikä mitään kreisiä esitystä niin ois saattanu Sara pahasti pudota euroviisuissa.

I think people also just don’t give a fuck about winning. Last year we had the perfect act but it didn’t win because Sweden, jury votes etc. so now we just choose something that makes people smile and don’t really care if it even makes to the finals.

@@Ispeakastronomy7 ballads are a dime in a dozen when it comes to Eurovision. No point in copying past acts and doing the same exact thing over and over again (like Sweden...). Bringing semi-serious/ half assed/ comedy oriented performances bring the diversity that the competition desperately needs. It doesn't need diversity in people, it needs diversity and variety in music!

Watching this one day after the Umk final and it just gets better. Staging is gourgeous as well as Saras performance. The voice Is some unsteady in the beginning but improves quickly. And the emotions are there! You dont have this kind of songs each year. Chance for Finland to succeed in Esc was there but was thrown away. Go Sara!

Juryt voi rokottaa aika paljon jos livelaulu ei onnistu ja tässä vedossa meni tosi monta kertaa nuotin vierestä. Tosi harmi, koska olis ollut niin eeppinen esitys jos vaan laulu olis ollut täydellinen tai lähellä sitä.

Here I don't see it and will vote in the semi for Ukraine because the song is ESC worthy has meaning (quite an obvious one) and I want to see them on the final so everyone sees them, Cha Cha Cha also had meaning-have fun escape the problems. They will manage fine without my votes on the Semi 😆. This year there are mostly good songs, people took it seriously, if Win95 makes it to be a comic relief fine by me.

I have considered a lot. This song has been on my mind, on repeat, entered my spotify list instantly. Now that the stage is almost done in Malmö, I could really see how beautiful this performance would have been in the arena. Why she wasn´t choosen is still a mystery for me. Her vocals weren’t great at this performance. In this type of song vocals have to be perfect, it really is crucial when the whole performance is leaning only to her voice. Before hearing her singing live, she was a clear fan favorite. But after seeing the performance, it just wasn’t great enough.

@@Ispeakastronomy7 I'm another person who came back here for this song after Eurovision this year. It's true that Sara's vocals that night were not 100% accurate, but let's face it she delivered 90%, and the fact that she came 2nd reflected the favor for the song both of the public and of the jury. I still believe that the Käärijä complex took the most of the votes from this song which could possibly have done equally well on Eurovision with improved staging because it was too dark.

However, I still doubt Finland would have succeeded with this song (as it didn’t with Windows95man either) because there were so many outstanding singers in Eurovision this year with great songs. It would have been hard for Sara to compete with them based on her vocal performance. Even Slovenia didn't have success, despite Raiven being a phenomenal singer and having a song that I personally liked a lot. EDIT: Take this from someone who voted for Sara in the UMK final.

Tbh I also agree that compared with Eurovision songs and performances this year, this song might eventually not have standed out as much as it was thought to before UMK. I would like to compare this song to Belgium's rather than Slovenia's. Belgium was actually my favorite, but look, they didn't even reach the final. So the staging is literally everything and more that counts. That's why I thought Sara would have eventually needed a much more powerful and impressive staging of course plus improved vocals. Also her vocals make people argue so much, but I understand that to some she sounds extremely flat but to others she has a unique voice. I would have voted for her as well!

By far the best song, melody and performance of UMK 2024. So disappointed Sara did not win. This time the international jury knew what would appeal in the actual contest. I prefer quality to humor in ESC, but seems its all about show for Finland this time again.

This performance was by far the best of the night. Amazing vocals, very original and interesting staging and just a masterpiece of a song. I dont know this would have done in Malmo. But it was still clearly the best of the night. Sad that it didnt win. Robbed!

I think UMK should add a semi-final to allow artists who qualify to have a chance to improve their live performance during the final and not make the choice based on just one live performance. They should do like Estonia.

Perhaps you’ve listened too much of those stage performances where the singer/singers aren’t singing live. This is what real live performance sounds like. She sung very well live.

Mut oma mielipide, että muilla oli sitten muutamia kohtia, missä voivat parantaa, mutta saralla oli melkein koko biisi pelkkää huutamista (ei siis edes laulua) ja laulukohdat oli todella epävireisiä sekä väkinäisiä. Ei sellanen sovi balladiin, ettei edes osaa laulaa.
