I don’t usually comment on videos but I just can’t not recommend this - Firefly Lane, the Netflix show, was so so good!!!! Sarah Chalke and Katherine Heigl were amazing in it!! I watched it all with my best friend and we cried so hard - I really recommend watching it together with your closest pals! I didn’t even know it was a book before we finished the show but it is now definitely on my TBR!

Hey Sara, one of my biggest surprises this year was this book I randomly found at my library that had me bawling my eyes out but was just so perfect was called ‘We All Looked Up’ I think you would love it, I didn’t expect to but ultimately it was amazing and kind of depressing.

Best Book: The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah. literally sobbed over this book and I read it because of you!! was an absolute beautiful read and not i'm reading Firefly Lane so i'm prepared for more tears. Books Read This Year: I've read 29 books this year so far! my goal is 50 so I feel like I might go over wooo! Best Sequel: Haven't really read a lot of sequels this year but would have to be A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. New Release I Haven't Read Yet: Love Unwritten by Lauren Asher! so so excited for this one! I love all her books and read the Dreamland Billionaire's series so fast lmao. Most Anticipated: Powerless by Lauren Roberts DUHHHHHH. Literally comes out in a week and i'm going to scream. Biggest Surprise: Funny Story by Emily Henry. Honestly this book definitely exceeded my expectations for the writing style. I always heard about her amazing writing and I was honestly just expecting another romance writer but the way she puts words on paper has me in awe. She is able to perfectly describe emotions I've never had words for and it just baffled me. Absolutely loved this book. Favorite New Author: Kristen Hannah!!! Im halfway through Firefly Lane and I read The Nightingale this year and I have a craving to read literally everything she has put out. Im obsessed with her writing and her stories. They are so emotional yet give me so much joy and pain at the same time. Newest Fictional Crush: CASSIAN. no words needed Book That Made You Cry: The Nightingale and A Little Life. pretty self explanatory. Have tear stains on these pages. Book That Made Me Happy: Re-reading the Percy Jackson Series! This series brings me so much nostalgia so reading them makes me so happy :) Most Beautiful Book: A special edition of Little Women! She looks so pretty on my shelf and Im absolutely loving it Books I Need To Read By The End Of The Year: The Crescent City books! I only have two of them but Im waiting for the 3rd to come out in the B&N special edition paperback so I might just have to read that one on my kindle while I wait. 5 Star Reads This Year: The Nightingale A Court of Silver Flames Ruthless Vows A Little Life Books to Re-Read: The Percy Jackson series!!!! Currently in the middle of rereading them. they bring me so much nostalgia and happiness! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I reread all of the other books last year but I haven't finished the last one yet lmao. def been putting it off. Books I've Been Putting Off: Fairy Tale by Stephen King,, this one's been on my shelf for like a year and I haven't read it yet lmao. It will be my first stephen king read and im kinda nervous. Book You Enjoyed With Mixed Reviews: Binding 13 by Emily Walsh. I didn't really enjoy this one but a LOT of people love this series so it kinda fits in the mixed reviews category lmao. 5 Star Predictions: Reckless by Lauren Roberts, At least one of the CC books, Ashley Poston's new book im really excited for and hope its a 5 star. and all of the other Kristen Hannah books I plan on reading this year I think will all be 5 stars.

What an amazing mid-year book tag ! I can only say that it is THANKS TO YOU that i am now able to respond to some of these questions because you truly helped me get out of my big book slump. I can proudly say that i read almost 60 books so far, some surprises were the ACOTAR series obviously (and my book boyfriend unsurprisingly Rhysand😂) which were 5 stars to me. I did also discover Emily Henry's work and i only have one book left in her recent romcoms. Then, i'm excited for Reckless of course (!) My best book read so far is Near-Death Experiences and Others by Robert Gottlieb. Biggest surprise The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes. Nice video.

So many people didn’t and for valid reasons but I loved it so much! Red Rising is good! Read it last year and loved it. Need to finish the rest of the books in the series. I’ve read Beartown and need to read the rest but I feel like I will wait for the fall/winter to do so. Love this tag!
