The last 2 minutes of this game was incredibly intense

M. Malins, Itoje, B. Vunipola and B. Earl. were great for Saracens. Bristol team looked pretty close with sarries as well - some of the Bris back-line moves in the first half looked impressive.

looks like below par officiating, the TMO asks to stop the game to review a shoulder charge and the outcome(even though it is very clear)... just a warning. Never been permitted in the Union game, Sir and it needs to be stamped out, especially as it only harms England.

Referees make me utterly sick. Not sending players off, where others wouldn’t be given a chance, yet noticing minutiae from other players. If it is too hard to do, then refereeing needs to be made simpler, otherwise let’s just forget it, as it is a blooming lottery.

It seems that the English Internationals (Golden Calves) are refereed differently to the rest of the players in the league. Is this sanctioned by the EFU or is is just incompetence?

I like how Farrell was penalised for the shoulder charge when the tackle around Ben Earl's neck was missed entirely. Inconsistent refereeing is the death of some Premiership sides.

Another example of how the forward pass rule needs looked at. I've seen countless tries all over the world awarded where passes identical to that one are thrown and the try stands. There's no consistency and therefore there's obviously too much room for interpretation in the rule

If the fans in the West corner (myself included) hadn't gone beserk about that forward pass, the ref would not have checked it, and Bristol could've quite easily won that game. There was no favoritism at all, anyone who thinks the Bears were cheated should have their glasses cleaned.

Rugby is obsessed with punishing tiny errors like an ever so slightly forward pass leading to a try yet dozens of much worse offences go unpunished all over the place. It's almost like they want to put people off watching or playing the game.

Never mind the players - Christophe Ridley was just plain awful! How on earth he is refereeing in the Premiership just indicates how few decent referees there are around these days - weak, ineffectual. and - dare one say it - perhaps just a little scared of Farrell? I'd have had the twerp Farrell off - obe yellow for the tackle, and another for the backchat - someone has to set the standards of what is acceptable, and it was never going to be Ridley. Look at the videos - in every single game that he has refereed this season there has been contention, mistake, or nonsense - action, please, RFU! I'd bring Ashley Rowden back myself, even if he is now getting on a bit!
