Glad more celebrities are talking about psychedelics in general, finally getting rid of the stigma around them.

Yes! I remember a period in the 80s when it was fashionable for people to be publicly remorseful about having experimented with psychotropic drugs in their youth. I was appalled at that trend; I've never had an ounce of remorse and have always been grateful for the personal growth and maturation I experienced in my drug-taking days (late 60s/early 70s). I'd have matured anyway whether I tripped or not but I still believe those altered states enhanced and accelerated the process.

"I mean, how many times do you need to drop LSD?" "Not more than 13. Or 30." "We would've hung out." These are people after my own heart, except they must've been children when I was doing psychedelics. Edit: Just checked their birthdates. Sarah was a baby and Sturgill wasn't even born yet. Too bad, if we'd lived in more compatible time-frames we'd have totally had some good times.

Sarah is so honest. That is shocking to some. I find it totally refreshing. Personally, I don't need or want any drugs. Not part of my journey. #bridgesnotwalls

@@propps2253 While swimming in the psychedelic sea one of the things I absorbed was an overview that encompasses both use and non-use of mind-altering drugs; in the end we're growing and changing and (if we let ourselves) acquiring insight whether we do any tripping along the way or not.

I remember experimenting with "street level" psychedelics years ago, taking the lessons that the experiences had to offer, and moving beyond without regret. Unfortunately, with all of the "designer" variants that have been developed between then and now, I cannot in good conscience recommend that others follow suit... With proper supervision, maybe. But this is not a subject to be joked about, or taken lightly.

I think they were addressing each other in mutual understanding that they're both mature adults who damn well know how to use recreational substances responsibly. Note that they're talking about it in the past tense, not as if they were wild-eyed party animals recklessly tripping their lives away, so I think they agree with you that "this is not a subject to be joked about or taken lightly"; that doesn't mean they have to be somber and grim about it. They're being honest about the fact they've had beneficial experiences and no regrets.

MDMA is a incredible drug that can help almost anyone with a psychological disorder.

Its also true that MDMA is the active ingredient of ecstasy and speed and is a significant killer of the 16-25 year age group via complications like, heart arrhythmia, water intoxication

Rates of death make up a small percentage of useage stats however.

@@adampickard9880 However I recommend sticking with the substances that have even less incidence of complication: marijuana, mushrooms, peyote and their derivatives.

I never felt confortable with drugs, even though i do understand the "interests" of some people for them. I personaly consume canabis on a regular basis, but that's my limit. Even alcohol makes me unconfortable.. having seen what damages it can bring - devastating results, holy crap. If it's not a plant, I feel it is sorta "fake" in a way, "wrong". But her honesty is touching. As always ! Sarah is such a beautiful soul :)

@@danielburner True but I've never heard of anyone enjoying it; help yourself if that's your thing and the rest of us will stick to the plants we find user-friendly.
