MARIANNE GOLDWEBER, SB is really fantastic. Great voice, great interpretations. Yet, I seem to be the only one here to consider the mad and semi-porn 1978 disco song STARSHIP TROOPER, a real and misunderstood masterpiece, despite the video has been considered some years ago the worst of all times by MTV! Greets from Brazil. Merry Xmas and Happy 2020.

I love your reaction! I’ve loved this song ever since I first heard it in the late 90’s. I used to babysit this little boy my friends adopted from Korea and he was just a toddler, but every time I played this song he would stop whatever he was doing, lie on his tummy, prop up on his elbows and rest his chin in his hands and just smile! Only to this song! It was so cute! But, as much as I love this song, I never thought it would apply to my life and make me so sad as my husband left a few months ago. Now it breaks my heart . It is a wonderful song. But it was not written by Andrew Lloyd Webber for Sarah Brightman. Con te partiro (Time to say goodbye) was composed by Francesco Sartori for Andrea Bocelli. He sung the song 1995 at the Sanremo festival and published it on his Album 'Bocelli' 1996. After this in 1997 they made the bilingual version 'time to say goodbye' with Sarah Brightman
